The layout is simple yet elegant. Andy has a done an excellent job in bringing it all together in a format that combines video, print and stills to showcase what can be accomplished with the tiny camera in your pocket. Every issue features interviews with photographers that are pushing the boundaries of this medium along with plenty of tips and tricks to help you improve your skills. ### 5/5 — Validation error (Resolved) *2020-06-09* I have paid a 12 month subscription and made additional purchase of two back issues. When I attempt to open all but the free trial issue, I get a pop up “Validation Error” notice. Andy at Mobiography Magazine made contact with me and after speaking with his developers sorted the issue. Through the entire process I was kept completely informed and now have total access to all the content is subscribed to. It was worth the wait as the magazine is loaded with excellent advice, interesting content and most of all photos from people like myself, enjoying the convenience and creative options of photographing with a smart phone. **Developer response:** Glad we managed to sort the problem out for you. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2020-05-28, version 8.11.29* Loads of information for mobile phone camera users!! I had an issue with the subscription process and it was immediately solved. Very nice people. This is the best reference material for phone photographers. It’s worth the visit! You can suscribe or purchase individual issues. Maybe the OS mandated a change. But my subscription has been corrupted. I Have had to one by one reload each and one that was 'free' now I have to pay for. And this iPad 2gen may not be supported, I'm about to find out. If you are running the latest version and still having problems could you email me at support@mobiography.net as I would like some more information about your problem. You should be able to easily restore all your purchases with the new app so I'm a bit concerned as you mentioned that your subscription corrupted and you had to restore them one by one. The old free issue was quite old so the April 2020 issue is now the free sample issue that showcases the latest content and features. It constantly freezes, fails to switch over from portrait to landscape mode, it crashes regularly and just generally makes the whole experience bad! Even the link to review the App failed! I have paid for a years subscription and will not bother renewing it if there is not some improvement in its fucntionality. My software is completely up to date and Im using an iPad Air 2 to access this, so I would expect everything to work, sadly its not the case right now. Reading stories about other mobile photographers and the work that they are doing is true motivation to pursue to shoot more and with greater purpose. Also, the tutorials in each issue provide “aha” moments to learn and expand on the tools/apps that are available for mobile photography. I watch a lot of YouTube videos but this magazine is truly special with its content. I pour over every page making sure I don’t miss a thing. The interviews are insightful and illuminating. The tutorials are detailed yet written and illustrated on a level that is easy to follow. The photo app reviews are superb. It’s interesting, informative, and aggravates all the things an avid mobile photographer would love to read about. You know it’s a winner when you can’t wait for the next issue. My only complaint is it doesn’t come out every month. My advice is to get started by looking at the contents of the last several issues, bite the bullet and download one. You’ll see what a good value a subscription really is. ### 5/5 — Mobiography Magazine *2020-09-13* I love this digital magazine! There are so many camera, editing and special effect apps, that I’ve ended up with a lot of useless or redundant apps on my mobile devices. It’s very hard to keep up with all the new apps. Now I use Mobiography Magazine to do the legwork! It’s a great way to stay updated on the latest smartphones, editing apps, and other smartphone photographers. It features tutorials, equipment, artists, reviews on future smartphone releases and fun ideas and ways to challenge yourself. It has tons of useful information that I can read at my own pace. It’s well worth the very reasonable price to be able to stay “in the loop” without having to do time-consuming research. ### 5/5 — Excellent Update *2020-08-19, version 9.2.1* I have read Mobiography magazine since issue 1, anyone who uses a mobile phone for photography, whether as their main camera or for casual snaps will find Mobiography magazine a great source of information. The reviews are excellent and easy to understand, interviews with photographers are usually very interesting and one can always learn from their techniques and experiences, there is something in the magazine for all levels of photographer whether beginner or pro. The yearly prescription is good value and I find the new update gives the magazine a nicer cleaner look 10/10 ### 5/5 — Perfect *2020-07-30, version 9.2.1* I recently found this magazine and I wish I had found it sooner. It is the perfect companion for anyone with an interest in photography that owns and iPhone. Plenty of very good detailed articles, stunning photos and reviews of apps and equipment. Well worth the subscription price.
