Even Google Gemini can’t figure it out. No issues with setup or anything else for that matter. My only complaint is I don’t think it has notifications or I haven’t figured it out yet. I would like to know when there is an issue with the dosing pumps without opening the app. ### 2/5 — MyAI is better *2025-11-08, version 2.23* I tried using this app with two AI Orbit 4 pumps. It basically has the same setup as the MyAI app but why in the world did the app developer not include a “Pump Off” option. This is extremely useful when doing a water change and the water falls below the level of the pump or for any other type of emergency maintenance. That was so frustrating. I will not use Mobius as long as that is not included. The older MyAI app includes it. I use the MyAI app for my hydra lights as well and there is a lights off setting too. Please fix this and update the interface so it’s an improvement over the MyAI app. Improved flow programming and sync settings would be helpful. I would like to see a sync setting that allows the reverse of the original setting. ### 1/5 — Confusing & Difficult To Navigate *2025-10-29, version 2.23* As an IT professional I have to say this is probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly difficult to navigate… it just doesn’t make sense. It’s also difficult to see what you’re tapping sometimes because your finger will hide the display. ### 1/5 — NTP fails *2025-06-30, version 2.21* They seems to be unable to keep their NTP up and synced as I have issues with this at least weekly. This is such a simple thing to maintain and yet they cannot and with using schedules with my pumps it’s very frustrating when it’s not working properly. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2025-06-25, version 2.21* Spent two days trying to upgrade a light that I wanted to add tried to contact support and guess what nobody was available. Everything worked. And then Mobius came along. Half the time it can find my tank. I still can’t connect all my wave makers and more than once a month my lights seem to follow their own new schedule. I’m so irritated that I’m actually investigating alternatives ### 1/5 — Absolutely infuriating! *2025-03-25, version 2.20* Failure to connect. - Failure to load schedule. - Failure to add device. - Request timeout. - Device already belongs to a tank; despite being reset, cleared and white. - I only have three devices. A Versa dosing pump and two MP40’s. Versa pump connected and green, the MP40’s are red and unable to connect. Get the one or both MP40’s connected and green, the Versa is now red and unable to connect. Disconnect and factory reset. Try to add again, error. Reset, unplug for 30+ seconds, plug back in, still won’t connect. Ensure everything is set up properly per EcoTech, no difference. Follow all their instructions, no difference. Musical chair, shell game. - 3 days and still useless. Why in the world they chose Bluetooth over WiFi is baffling. No monitoring or changing anything if you’re out of Bluetooth range. No alerts, etc. These very issues have been around since it released in 2020. 5 years ago! Unacceptable today especially for the premium costs. ### 4/5 — So far, so good for me *2025-03-09, version 2.20* The app is working has intended. The big downside is you cannot adjust ramp up/downtime like you can with the AI app. So when I initially set up my schedule, I thought the app was messed up because my lights would come on earlier and then turn off later than I scheduled. But then I realized that those were ramp up/down times. So your lights will turn on before sunrise schedule for ramp up time, and will go off after sunset schedule for ramp downtime. ### 1/5 — Your App is Garbage *2025-02-26, version 2.20* How after years, is the app still so bad? The lights this garbage is supposed to control doesn’t work. Cant connect to app so my lights are all over the place, coming on in the middle of night instead of during the day. Can’t fix it, because I can’t get app to connect. Just destroy this app, it is completely useless. NO-ONE SHOULD BUY Radions at this point. You must constantly restart the app to get it to function. Really, does Mobius and eco tech not read reviews? It’s already a cheap product with a high price, but now you spend all this money for features you can’t use? I have not had a single issue with the app. Could it use some work? Yes. But I was surprised to see so many people having issues since I haven’t experienced any. I am not making or using multiple emails and jumping through hoops to use an app I am waiting for authorization apparently to turn on a 500+ dollar LED light. This is ridiculous. I don’t see any intelligent aquarium care guys. I see an app that won’t let me pass the login screen and also won’t send me an authorization email. I will also add. No issues with connectivity or function. If you’re having problems with it, it’s because you don’t understand how to setup your network properly. Which is a problem for most people, because most people aren’t generally tech savvy enough to handle even simple tech. Wouldn’t recognise my email and couldn’t find my wifi. Tried again later and it worked perfectly.
