I watched FOUR ads in a row trying to unlock the next episode, and it still kept sending me back to the same episode. These are not even normal ads with a clear countdown and an obvious close button. A lot of them are playable game ads, and it is not clear when the ad has actually finished. You are pushed toward downloading the game, and if you did that every time, you would end up with loads of games on your phone that you never wanted in the first place. I do not think it is fair to advertise “watch an ad to unlock” when the ad does not clearly end or reliably unlock the next episode afterwards. I would happily watch a normal advert every few episodes, but forcing people through repeated interactive game ads like this just feels designed to wear you down until you pay. After four ads in a row and still not progressing, I gave up. Waste of time. I reached out to correct this as they were both for only ending on the same date and I was double charged, they responded stating that I had three weeks worth of subscriptions. I responding with my bank statements as proof and was just asking that one of the purchases could be refunded. They responded with I need to show proof and that I paid for coins. I am very disappointed in the responses and I don’t want this happening to anyone else. What a joke, I paid a very overpriced subscription for one week to VIP membership at the rip off price of £29.99 only to get 5 more episodes in and get told to watch more I need to upgrade my, already ridiculous subscription to SVIP for another £9.99 a week. Seriously, what an absolute joke, I feel like I’ve been scammed, I immediately cancelled my subscription to stop the auto-renewal from happening. Congratulations to the developer for discovering the quickest way to fleece people out of their money.
