They force you to use the app that never works. It’s insanity. And it doesn’t even tell you why it won’t work— could be your password, could be an update, could be the app doesn’t like you today. You never know what’s going on and wind up changing your password 64847 times anyway… ### 1/5 — Don’t use this app. *2024-01-16, version 3.0.8* My first question had an Xray image and I clicked on it to see it bigger. Then the ‘Back’ button wouldn’t work so I could go back to the question and answer choices. I exited the app and went back in only to find that the question was marked as incorrect. So it’s been two weeks since I received the questions for Moca Peds and I am not able to access the questions. So the deadline should be extended until you fix this app! Curious what exorbitant board fees are paying for… ### 1/5 — Delete and reinstall. *2023-03-07, version 3.0.5* Updated review: entirely deleting the app and reinstalling restored function. It then required me to sign off on various “I won’t share this with anyone” statements and then returned to the usual Home Screen. I’ve used it for my MOCA cycles in the past but as of 3/6/23 it won’t open. Gives me the error message MOC-A when I try to sign in. My credentials work on the desktop. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2023-03-02, version 3.0.4* I get the same nonsensical error message when attempting to log in. It appears the easiest workaround is to delete and reinstall the app. Then it works fine for me. Also has been glitchy in terms of FaceID on the iPhone. The app minimizes or closes when I try to use FaceID most of the time. Hard to understand why it’s still this bad a few years into MOCA-Peds. ### 1/5 — Poorly functional *2025-06-28* Though the MOCA-Peds system is well thought out and the questions and answers helpful, the app is awful. Many issues for the past couple years with it freezing DURING timed test questions. Now, to really make the experience great— it crashes every time I open it. When I login I get a pop-up box that says “moca peds” with a blue “OK” button beneath it. when I push OKIt goes back to the login screen and I am not able to log on. Hope this can be fixed.
