### 1/5 — App issue

*2023-11-02, version 2.9.0*

I cannot get it to sink with the app! Keep getting an E4 error

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2022-10-25, version 2.9.0*

This thing took my blood pressure and it was wrong, not a little wrong. Like it made me hypertensive. 245/97. I am a nurse and I know that is not my pressure. I took it several times and each time it was off. If I can not trust the device, it serves no purpose.

### 1/5 — Pending updates

*2022-08-15, version 2.6.1*

Still waiting on “the new release being held by Apple”.
This version (6 months old) crashes and does not upload. It used to work, can’t understand why updates & bugs are not fixed.
Once a person can’t use the app, the purpose of using this cuff is senseless.
Wishing an update soon, or will return the cuff for a full refund.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iPhone SE 15.6

*2022-08-02, version 2.6.1*

Mocacare app doesn’t work with an iPhone SE with the 15.6 software update. Can’t sync with the Mocacuff.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t Work

*2022-07-05*

When first purchased the device it was particularly because it had a wireless sync that would keep the history. It didn’t work at first. However, it started working after a week or two and was pretty efficient. Then it stopped again, then started, and now completely broken. Maybe it is the security on my phone, but even after disabling the security it still doesn’t work, just “ER” on the device and the app closes. I have reinstalled the device and still doesn’t work. Because of the unreliable nature of the overall product, would not recommend purchasing it.

### 1/5 — Export

*2022-06-26, version 2.6.1*

Export screen asks for time of day but no field and no way to enter. Wont let me add new contact just turns off

### 1/5 — Software bug

*2022-06-13, version 2.6.1*

Love the wrist blood pressure machine. I will be returning though because the app says it’s 2021 and there is no way to fix it.

### 2/5 — Still bugs

*2022-05-28, version 2.6.1*

I just deleted the app to get rid of out of order dates. Now it shows 2023. Still not working right. Frustrating

### 2/5 — Please fix

*2022-05-24, version 2.6.1*

Please fix the export function. And when syncing to apple health please send measurement date not the syncing date. If not fixed will be looking for a new cuff soon.

### 1/5 — App keeps crashing

*2022-05-18*

I bought the expensive oxygen meter and the app is so buggy it crashes every time and immediately crashes every time since the last update, making the oxygen meter totally useless and a waste of money. My complaint, while acknowledge seems to have fallen into a black hole.
Working with tech support didn’t help and it’s getting worse.

### 1/5 — Crashes regularly

*2022-05-06*

App crashes or outright quits during usage. Majority of time it happens during time you are actually taking blood pressure. Also it periodically has trouble syncing with cuff monitor. Taking a second BP reading and syncing seems to record the missed reading.
Developers need to clean up a few bugs.

### 1/5 — The app is terrible

*2022-05-04*

I literally just received the device this morning and have been trying to create an account. The app continues to close quicker than I can add my email address. I have deleted it and re added it but it just won’t work. Now I’m returning the device and deleting the app

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2022-05-01, version 2.6.1*

The app crashes a lot. It says it’s connected successfully but just flashes that but nothing happens. So it only syncs every 3 days or so, won’t sync after each reading. It also says there is nothing to export when I have 3 months of readings.

### 2/5 — Helpful at first, now a pain.

*2022-04-29*

i used this to monitor my low blood pressure and keep track of it for my records.
it was awesome at first!! i loved it!
but recently it's been crashing if i use it for more than a few seconds at a time.
this app is really helpful in dealing with my disability and i would love if they could fix this minor issue.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Substandard

*2025-08-27, version 2.9.0*

App is not working, service in 3-5 days???
Unacceptable in 2025!

### 1/5 — Ghosted

*2025-08-21, version 2.9.0*

App quit connecting. Contacted support three times. No response. This isn’t the app you are looking for.

### 1/5 — Server Down

*2025-07-29, version 2.9.0*

App worked great, then did not recognize my login. This was 2 months ago. No response, no email, no Facebook, no way to get any response. The app allows a quick scan for BP but I can’t see my history etc. What’s going on????

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2025-07-27*

The app has not been working for months with a pop up titled “Server Down” and the following message: “Unfortunately, we’re experiencing some difficulties connecting to server. Please try again later or contact our Customer Support team.” But the customer support doesn’t respond.

### 1/5 — The app seems to no longer be supported

*2025-06-30*

The app will display the measurements taken by the cuff, but I can no longer view my history, or even login to the app. When I click on app support here it goes to an invalid web page. I wouldn’t recommend this companies products for the lack of service options.

### 1/5 — Good then bad

*2025-06-24, version 2.9.0*

Started out great then tanked. Setup and synced with no problems. Then one day it stopped. I could not access my data. I could not setup a new account. NOTHING. No response from customer service. Not worth it.

### 1/5 — Not working on iPhone

*2025-06-02, version 2.9.0*

Please fix or at least let cuff work with another app to sync health history…

### 1/5 — Lost my history

*2025-05-21*

Like another reviewer, the app now prompts me for a login, but says Data Error when I try to create an account. It will sync new measurements for me using Quick Scan but appears to not save them. Makes the cuff useless if I don’t have data to share with my doctor.

### 1/5 — Prompting for login

*2025-05-17, version 2.9.0*

I’ve been using this app for over a year. Today it prompted for a login, but it won’t accept anything. The developer website is dead. This app should be taken out of the store.

### 1/5 — Cuff great, app garbage

*2024-04-28*

Ive had the cuff about a week—its easy to use and appears to take accurate readings. The app, however, is awful. Wont connect to the cuff, the date selector wont pop up so I cant enter by birthday, and it just quits all the time. Had I known the app was this terrible, I would have purchased another cuff.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Mocacuff

*2021-07-15, version 2.4.4*

Easy to use

### 3/5 — Unable to export data

*2022-05-02*

MocaCuff works flawlessly and records BP readings into the app just fine. However, when I try to export Blood Pressure and Heart Rate data within correct selected dates, I constantly receive the error message “No data matches your criteria. Let’s take a measurement!”

*Update: App keeps crashing after sync established. Still cannot export data although Customer Support indicated this is known malfunction that would be corrected via update before May 1. No fix is yet available.

### 3/5 — Love it but it needs work

*2021-08-12*

I absolutely love the lay out of the app, love that I can add notes so I know what I was doing when I had the high blood pressure, but I was so excited and I took it to work and everyone was testing their BP all day and it was syncing to my app and now I can’t delete it. As in the butting is there and I push it, but it stays in the app. I also can’t change the time from military time in the app.

### 3/5 — Could Be Better

*2019-08-20*

I don’t have trouble with the app’s connection. I check my BP, open the app, tap the picture of my BP cuff and it does the rest. It also has a few handy icons for me to mark my activity such as “waking up”, “exercising”, or “caffeinating”.

That’s not much good when looking at the list if they don’t show the icon. My doctor asked me to take my BP when waking up each morning only so he could see the trend. I like to see what it is during other activities and would like to be able to quickly see the activity associated with each reading. Fix this and it’s a higher rating.

Also, the cuff is very “positional” meaning it has to be far enough from your hand to be accurate. I have to be very careful about where I put it on, but once you know, it’s accurate.

### 3/5 — Everything except Trends category works.

*2018-11-01, version 2.4.0*

Everything works great except for the trends category. Please fix! This could easily be five stars with that feature working.

### 2/5 — Double and Treble readings

*2023-02-17, version 2.9.0*

For some strange reason when I use the app and sync, the same reading appears. Sometimes twice, other times it will show the same reading three times.

### 2/5 — Annoying

*2022-11-24*

This app combined with the BP cuff is good in theory, but execution is lacking. I have been using this for several months now and I am disappointed with the app all together. I initially set it up to do medication reminders, which was great. E cause I wanted a way to track that as well as my blood pressure. However, it does not save when I mark as taken so everyday I receive multiple simultaneous reminders for the same medication, so I am getting reminders for all the previous days that I marked as taken but it did I not save. I go in and mark them all as taken and hit save, it shows them as taken and then the next day it happens again. I tried stopping reminders, doesn’t work. I even deleted the medication and went with using another app for that purpose. I am still getting the reminders! It’s frustrating because this is the only app my cuff will link to with Bluetooth so I can’t just delete it. As far as the BP cuff goes I like the feature to send all my reading to the app, but even though o have the date and time set correctly, it does not save correctly when it transfers over. The app has the option for creating a report, but then it only shows one reading per day, which is not beneficial to me and you don’t get to chose which one. I was hoping to be more impressed by this, but it has not been the best experience.

### 2/5 — Repeatedly Crashes

*2022-09-23, version 2.6.1*

Need to be updated to take advantage of iOS 16. App now crashes after Moca Cuff is synced to device.

### 2/5 — Sync with AppLe Health inconsistent

*2022-08-31, version 2.6.1*

Sometimes is syncs fine others I get three readings for the same day. It puts todays date in for the date the reading was taken.

### 2/5 — Shutting down

*2022-07-20, version 2.6.1*

Anytime I attempted to change my height or weight the app shuts down. Even with Bluetooth synced the readings don’t always show up on my app. Annoyed.
