## What is Mochi?

Mochi turns screen time into a conversation instead of a fight.

Your child's apps stay locked. When they want one, they ask — from their own phone, in one tap. You get a notification, see what they asked for and why, and approve it for 30 minutes, an hour, or as long as you like. When the time runs out, the app locks itself again.

No arguments. No confiscated phones. Just a rule everyone agreed to.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install Mochi on your phone and on your child's.
2. Pair the two devices with a 6-digit code.
3. Pick the apps to manage. They lock right away.
4. Your child asks, you answer. That's the whole loop.

WHY FAMILIES STAY
• Your child asks instead of sneaking around. Naming what they want, and waiting for an answer, is the habit that sticks.
• You keep the final word without looking over their shoulder.
• Approvals expire on their own, so you are never the one who has to end it.
• One tap locks everything back down, from wherever you are.
• It keeps working when their phone is asleep, restarted, or the app is closed.

BUILT ON APPLE SCREEN TIME
Mochi runs on Apple's Family Controls framework. Your child cannot uninstall the block or switch it off — only you can, from your device. Family Sharing is required, and a parent authorizes the child's device once during setup.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Mochi never sees which apps your child opens, never reads their messages, and never tracks their location. We could not if we wanted to: Apple's framework hides app identities from us. We store the requests you approve, and nothing else.

SUBSCRIPTION
Mochi is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
