## What is Mochipy?

Mochipy is a local marketplace for homemade treats. Home bakers in New Hampshire and Massachusetts sell cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bread, macarons and more, and neighbors order ahead and pick up in person.

We're launching now: bakers are setting up their shops, and each one opens for orders after Mochipy checks their state or town food permit.

For customers
• Browse home bakers and treats near you
• Read every treat's ingredients and allergens before you order
• Choose a pickup time and pay securely; you're only charged when the baker accepts
• Pick up with a 6-digit code; the baker's address is shared only after they accept
• Request custom cakes, message bakers, leave reviews, and report problems

For home bakers
• Create your little shop in minutes. No business, storefront or website needed
• Check your home-food requirements: plain-English answers for your state and town, with official sources
• Add treats with photos, ingredients, allergens and sizes, and preview your shop before it opens
• Upload your permit for verification, set pickup times, manage orders and get paid through Stripe

Mochipy is local pickup only, for treats that are safe without a fridge.
