It is a pain in the butt to set up, it doesn’t stay connected and logging back in is a head ache. My neighbor has had these lights for a couple of years and they always look great. He only puts them up during the Christmas holiday. I liked them so much that I purchased them. Even though they are very expensive I bought them. The lights themselves work great, as long as you use the remote. From the start I had difficulty with the app. For some reason the app doesn’t stay connected. I have now had the light in regular use for about 2 months. When I am actually able to log into the app I have to be right in front of the receiver for the app to talk with the lights. Recently I have been unable to log into the app. It keeps saying that my password is wrong. When I try to reset the password I am told a log ninjas been sent to my email. While checking my email I can find the sent email. I finally just gave up and stick with the remote. This really sucks because the remote is very limited. As of right now I would not recommend these lights for purchase. ### 1/5 — App stopped working *2026-01-20, version 2.0.14* 2 days after installing our lights the app stopped accepting our username and password. I had to go through a huge process to reset my password, then it did it again. Lights were overpriced to begin with, one would think that the app would at least save the password or stop logging users out daily. I shouldn’t have to have an email bookmarked for a password (because of course) you’re unable to even set your own password. POS app and I’d recommend Govee if you are simply perusing lights. AND NOW the app will NEVER send a password request email which makes it completely locked out of the app and therefore NO app control of LED lights. The worst ever. Can’t even register a new account.
