Took a photo of my cat, changed back to the screen and it only saved three items which makes no sense as I viewed the cart several times while shopping. I made an order for three garments (my first order ever from them) and two items out of three came damaged and stained. I’ve never before received two out of three garments damaged in an order before. I reached out to customer service which took its time in helping me. After returning the items and finally receiving the replacements, I got yet ANOTHER stained garment! In fact the stains were in the same place as the previous garment which made me wonder if they didn’t just put the old one back in the mail and send it out again. Since there is no way to leave reviews on their clothes on the website or app, this review is to warn customers about Mod Boutique’s quality assurance standards. Simply be wary and maybe even be prepared to get sub par quality clothes even though you’ll be paying boutique prices. ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-08-16, version 1.0* No, help from customer care. I have been getting the run around. They are blaming UPS for the missing package. I purchased a top and jeans. Why would I lie! I am reporting them to Better Business Bureau. Buyers be cautious they say they offer a buyers protection. That is a lie!! I have pictures of the purchase and there's no offer. Without it they cannot help you. You can only return for store credit. I’ve been waiting over two weeks for a credit code after a return. I’ve tried the chat feature on the Mod Boutique website, but I haven’t gotten an answer. I’ve also tried emailing and calling. Each time, a representative tells me it’ll just take a little longer. And here I am... still waiting. What a hassle. Take it from me: Shop elsewhere and protect your paycheck!!! ### 2/5 — Lacking customer service *2025-04-23, version 1.7* My husband bought me a pair of sneakers for Christmas. I tried them on around my house, decided they were not comfortable, and put them right back in the box to return. Well my return was rejected bc there were a few specks of dirt in the bottom of the shoes (I’m talking teeny tiny and could definitely have been brushed off). They said the shoes were not re-sellable. I 100% disagree and explained that I had only tried them on in my house. They only offered to ship them back to me for an additional cost! Was I not supposed to try them on?! Now I’m out $47 for the shoes and they want another $6 to send them back to me! Ive been a loyal customer up to this point and have shopped with them several times but no longer. They actually just stopped responding to my emails entirely. I feel so disrespected as a customer.
