### 5/5 — Well Done! I want more!

*2011-06-15, version 3.0*

This is such a wonderful app. Would love many more scenarios to be added esp. relating to personal boundaries and respect of others. Would pay for an expanded app with more situations

### 5/5 — Great free app

*2011-06-11, version 3.0*

Imagine my surprise when I began reading the social stories and many of the locations were ones in my city!! This will be great for my son because he will recognize some of the places in the story and hopefully that will add to the meaning of the story! Even if you don't recognize the pictures, it's a great app considering it was free!

### 5/5 — Great!

*2011-06-03, version 3.0*

Could you please add going to the dentist

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2011-06-03, version 3.0*

Keep up the good work developers. As a parent of a special needs child with challenging behaviors, this app will be a fantastic tool for social stories. Thank you

### 5/5 — Great

Amazing free app! I work with autistic children and I use these for social stories. Some are afraid to go to certain places and these videos really help them understand. A++++

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sound doesn’t work.

*2019-08-21, version 4.0*

I would love to give this more stars if they can fix the sound. I have a iPhone 6s.

### 1/5 — Not good for a single parent.

*2016-06-04, version 3.3*

This is real a good idea but it's not for a child that has a single parent!

### 1/5 — Pictures are very dark

*2010-12-09, version 2.0*

This app looks very well put together, but the pictures are so dark they are almost black. I wonder if the new iOS did this. Anyone else seeing this?

### 3/5 — Helpful

*2012-04-09, version 3.0*

This helped my son overcome his fear of a haircut. Excellent social stories. An option to turn off the music and speed up the slide transitions would be great!

### 4/5 — New user

*2021-10-07, version 4.0*

Only just downloaded this app but it definitely needs going to the Dentist, optometrist, getting bloods done.
But it look like a good app

### 4/5 — Good application

*2011-02-11, version 3.0*

I like the application. My 2 year old like it.

### 4/5 — Pictures are too dark.

*2010-12-14, version 2.0*

I really like this App. However, the pictures are too dark.

### 4/5 — useful for managing expectations

*2010-07-10, version 0*

This is a good basic application to help children get a sense of what the expectations are in social situations. It would be interesting to see it go farther to include strategies for coping with these experiences when they get overwhelming. If there was a sub-page at each point with suggestions of what to do if a child is feeling stressed out at each point, with alternative things to think about, or how to respond/share feelings of being uncomfortable, but it is a good start.

### 5/5 — Great and free

*2016-07-09, version 3.3*

These are great free social stories that work well to review different places one might go.

### 5/5 — Kids Love It

*2015-06-25, version 3.3*

My students love this and those with special needs learn about emotion labels, characteristics, and cause and effect. Great length and nicely done.

### 5/5 — Excellent app.... Waiting for a school related one

*2013-09-17, version 3.3*

I would LOVE to see this company release a similiar app that focuses on school (riding the school bus, how to listen during a lesson, going to an assembly, going on a field trip, going to the school library, hand washing etc) As a teacher and mother of a son with special needs I know how useful this would be! )

### 5/5 — Parent

### 5/5 — Model me kids

*2011-12-27, version 3.0*

My guy is 7 and non-verbal. Brandon absolutely loves the "model me" apps. He also remembers them, while at the doctors he remembered the doctor app. The doc walked into the room ad he looked up and said"hello doctor!" we were amazed! Keep up the good work! All these apps are great for autistic children.

### 5/5 — Teaching my autistic child to speak - Wow!!

*2011-11-08, version 3.0*

Please, please, please ADD more to this application. My 4 year old who could never speak sentences and has only a very limited vocabulary can now speak in sentences that you gave him and tell me what he wants, if he is hungry, if he wants to go somewhere. You deserve all the kudos in the world, you gave my son a voice and as parents of an autistic child, you gave us a way to communicate with him. Thank you!!
