## What is Moderato?

Moderato is the perfect app for managing and playing your accompaniment and backing tracks. Take control of your music practice and take your playing to another level.  

Moderato allows you to fine-adjust the tempo of backing tracks without affecting pitch, making it much easier to play along with (just like when your music teacher accompanies you in your lessons). Gradually build confidence and technique and master those tricky sections.

Moderato was designed for students of classical instruments (including singers) who are preparing for grades or exams, but it works equally well for any type of music or instrument, including voice, guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.

Unlock Moderato's Premium features and manage your songs inside the app's Library. This way, you'll always know where to go to find your music. This reduces friction and helps you get more our of your practice.

Moderato has been used with great success by students who have passed grades with distinction, prepared for big performances and competitions, and to play along with favourite songs.

Fixed a bug where music downloaded from Apple Music would incorrectly show in the Moderato browser (Apple Music is sadly not licensed or available for use in third party apps like Moderato)

We've added a little extra polish since our first release a few weeks ago...

You can now access recent playlists as well as recent songs.

This update also brings improvements to support for wireless headphones, better dark mode, and a few small iOS 12 fixes.
