Told I would be charged $1 Was charged $266 Now the fight for the refund ### 1/5 — DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FREE TRIAL *2020-06-02, version 8.2.0* This is the worst company EVER!! I signed up to see if it would be helpful with my Noom program as it was advertised as customized work out plan. But the app is very disorganized and must be used in companion with other apps. I canceled the nutrition portion in the app and all of the stuff disappeared. However, I was still charged for four months although it’s a monthly service. Then I received an email from Sandra stating that I can’t be refunded because it’s past the 7 day trial although no where does it state you have to email to cancel the service and it leads to believe you canceled within the app itself. BEWARE AND DO NOT TRY!!! ### 1/5 — Company looking for profit not helping people *2020-06-02, version 8.2.0* There is only a 7 day trial and I missed canceling it by one day. I emailed the company about canceling and reversing the charge but because I didn’t cancel before the 7 day trial was up they said there was nothing they could do. They were unwilling to work with me despite being only a few hours past the 7 days. When U asked how I was supposed to cancel they did not answer. They do this purposefully to get money. I suppose it’s my fault for not reading the reviews first. They take advantage of anyone who wants to lose weight. The company never advertised that this is an annual membership!! I am currently trying to contact this company to dispute this charge and cancel this annual membership they charged me for that they did not inform anyone of. Many people including myself cancelled before the trial period was up and were charged. They did not mention being charged for over $200. Their customer service sucks. They don’t offer anything worth near the amount they charge. They claim this is a 4 month subscription after I email requesting to cancel. Now I have asked my credit card company to look into it. All you get is a document with a meal plan through email, access to a workout app that is as basic as it gets (that many other apps offer free) a second app where you need to log food. I first was not notified of the price only the trial rate of $1 for a week. Then it was very difficult to cancel the trial. There is no easily accessible information to cancel. It took a lot of google search and still no information. Resulting me to attempt to send an email on the last day to cancel and am not able to get a refund, charging me $158 for a 4 month subscription that now is cancelled. They also don’t have a phone number to talk to an actual person everything is through email. Making contact difficult and long. The site is also not user friendly, making any information in regards to your personal account near impossible to find. When contacting the “trainer” she only gave little information and I have to send multiple emails to get through. I paid $1 for the trial period and then did not cancel but I was not told how much it would be after the 1 week trial period. It was $158 for four months. I did the $1 week trial and was excited as my “dietician” reaches out immediately. Do not be distracted by this immediate interaction. It is likely just an auto communication. No services were rendered, and despite canceling the service, i was charged again 3 months later. Upon contacting the company they stated it wasn’t possible that i had been charged again because the account had been canceled. Yet here i am, out $317. STAY AWAY! ### 1/5 — Deceptive Marketing *2020-09-05, version 9.0.3* I subscribed to the "free" trial 5 months ago. That you are supposed to be able to cancel at any time during the trial. I ended it via Apple subscriptions sometime that week (it was 5 months ago). Fine. On 9/03 I noticed a $158 charge on my card. This was the first charge I have ever had by them. First I couldn't even find contact info to call. And the number listed on their site doesn't work. I couldn't find any way to review payment or subscription info (assuming my card info would be there). I finally emailed the "coach" that first contacted me, who proceeded to, very condescendingly, tell me what the terms of service were "that I agreed to when I signed up". I explained again that I had cancelled before the trial ended. This was the first charge I have had which lead me to believe I had in fact completed the termination correctly. They are refusing to reverse the charge. And have ignored my request to escalate the issue to someone with more authority. I also did not get a notice that it was coming or a receipt that it happened. I only found it when the charge hit the account. I have not touched any part of the program since cancelling within the trial period, so not even like I'd been using it. It should not be that easy for someone to think they cancelled but didn't. This is deceptive. If you decide to go to this company, do so at your own risk. Extremely frustrating. ### 1/5 — Unbelievably Disappointed and Angry!!! *2020-07-29, version 8.3.0* This is the worst and most deceptive company to ever work with! I signed up for $1, reading that they would charge me $39 per month afterwards. I found that price reasonable since that’s what I used to pay for my gym membership prior to COVID-19. I was excited and on board. After the trial, they charged me $158!! 😳😳 I was shocked as I was not expecting them to take a lump sum at once. I immediately emailed the trainer asking for a refund as I felt completely mislead in pricing. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go with this company. I was unable to locate any. The confirmation email did not include any such information. I was then charged over $150. Within minutes of being charged I emailed and asked them to cancel my subscription and refund the charge since I was never informed of the amount and the service is not one that I am likely to use after seeing the trial. I was told it was not possible. I asked to put be put in contact with their legal department, and have not heard anything back from the company yet. I tried to call the phone number associated with the charge on my credit card and it was a Google voice phone number. ### 1/5 — Rip Off! *2020-06-22, version 8.2.0* They overcharged for inferior services. And they still actually charged more than they even claimed they would. They literally scam you. Over charge. Literally illegal practices. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. They are a horrible company preying on people. Please don’t trust them. ### 1/5 — Scam *2020-06-14, version 8.2.0* On the website they advertise personalized workout plans and meal plans but everything is just a template. They do not take your personal considerations into account for meal and exercise plans. I emailed the coach responsible for my plans and she did not even change the plan when I pointed out that she didn’t take my special situation into account! She just said “just count your macros” - the whole reason you get and pay $60 for a meal plan is to have someone do this for you! Absolute scam ### 1/5 — Be sure you know what you are paying for!! *2020-06-10, version 8.2.0* I was excited to start this so decided to pay the extra $59 for customized meal plan and exercise. 5 minutes after receiving my plan I knew it wasn’t a good one. The vegetarian option was eating eggs and yogurt multiple times a day and every day. Hardly any vegetables. I wrote within the hour and asked for a refund but according to policy (where is it written??) the SIXTY BUCKS is non refundable. Are you kidding me?? Sad that this company won’t work with you if you decide it is not for you the very first day. Robbery. Its like it knows exactly wut I need. The workouts are short but super efective, and the meal plans make eating helthy so much easier.
