## What is ModuCam CaptureLink?

ModuCam CaptureLink is a multi-camera capture tool for creators and small teams recording with multiple Apple devices.

See the readiness and battery status of iPhone and iPad devices signed in to the same Apple Account, then schedule video recording to start or stop across prepared devices. The companion Apple Watch app also lets you control the session from your wrist.

Key features

• See device readiness and battery status in one place
• Start and stop video recording across prepared devices
• Use a shared scheduled time to reduce network-delay differences
• Control the session from the companion Apple Watch app
• Deliver recordings to iCloud or an external cloud folder you explicitly choose
• Optionally save video to Photos, view transfer states, and retry failed transfers
• Select media from Photos or Files and assign camera, vocal, instrument, and reference-audio roles
• Create an uncompressed .castudio handoff package without transcoding the originals
• Export through Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or the system share sheet

Before you record

• Remote control requires the devices to be signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account and connected to a network.
• Open ModuCam CaptureLink on every participating device, turn on that device's camera, and grant camera and microphone access before starting.
• The shared scheduled time helps align the start of recording, but it does not replace professional timecode or provide frame-accurate synchronization.
• Video and audio are saved on the recording device first. They are copied to iCloud or a selected external cloud folder only when you enable that destination.
• A completed copy to a File Provider folder does not confirm that the provider has finished syncing it to its server. Check the provider's app for cloud-sync status.
• ModuCam Studio for macOS is a separate paid app. It is not included in this purchase; a .castudio file is a handoff package for compatible editing workflows.

There is no subscription. A single purchase provides continued access to all included ModuCam CaptureLink features on supported devices and operating systems.
