Incredible what you have in your hands on a portable device nowadays, comparing to the hardware you would have need to sell a bunch of kidneys some decades ago to own and rent a place where to store equipment. Now it's all in your tablet thanks to brilliant developers and apps for electronic music like this one. Bravo. ### 5/5 — Feedback Sound Lab *2017-12-19, version 2* The addition of AU support makes this already great app even better. You can create various feedback loops and automate the mix at various loop points. Lots of fun to experiment with different app combinations. You can even host it inside Audiobus or AUM for even more sonic possibilities. All of the controls can be automated with LFOs or you can use MIDI. The color coding of the sound flow and the mini oscilloscopes throughout the app allow you to see how your changes are modifying the audio signal as it goes through the app. There are many useful built-in effects available too. ### 5/5 — Highly versatile, but complex. *2017-01-12, version 1.1* It's a brilliant concept, although less than intuitive. However, playing around is a lot of fun and accidentally getting something 'amazing' is not only possible, but quite likely. Getting samples to open directly into the app could be made easier, and trying via the general pasteboard inexplicably opens the Intermorphics Mixtikl app. These and other buggy issues need fixing, but having played for a couple of days I had to give this innovative app 5 stars. Yes, you can absolutely deconstruct and mutate sounds with it. But, it's also a powerful set of tools for sculpting and creating unique beautifully musical new sounds. It's a deep program and might seem overwhelming at first but it has a superb set of inline tool tips to assist and teach you. Un laboratorio, di fatto, come il nome giustamente suggerisce, che (meraviglia delle meraviglie) si lascia non solo esplorare, ma addirittura utilizzare appieno senza nemmeno aver sfogliato il manuale (che, peraltro, è anch'esso realizzato con intelligenza e acume). Piuttosto che continuare a scimmiottare l'hardware più vetusto con interfacce tanto scenografiche quando inutilizzabili, ecco un ottimo motivo per essere ottimisti sul futuro della tecnologia e della musica elettronica (anche colta). ### 5/5 — Sound Designers dream machine *2016-07-07, version 1.0.4* I have all the amazing noise apps, I'm constantly using them I'm my professional work flow as a sound designer, using the touch screen you have so much more control than a midi keyboard, recording directly into pro tools or logic for up to 20 mins at a time then going through the audio making individual samples is great fun you can't call that work. Keep up the great work. Get it now. It is not only amazing, but also incredible. Highly recommended! ### 5/5 — Red Alert! Red Alert! *2016-06-30, version 1.0* For all of us iOS musicians. This is must have app. People do not miss it. Amazing app from amazing app designer. This one is some sort of hybrid synth. It is sample player, it is monophonic synth, it is modular synth. You can put inside the app anything IAA. Filters, another app music instruments. It works like a charm. For full three hours I try to do everything possible and app was stable like a pyramid. Manual is very good and helps a lot. It has all utilities for file exchange like Audio Share, copy/paste and recording is great by the way. Lot of presets. Do not wait. Buy and have blast. ### 5/5 — Bloody Incredible! *2016-06-30, version 1.0* What just happened is right! After just, ha! 30 minutes...thought it was, like, 10. I have made the widest possible opposite sound types and textures with just playing with one preset. From a combustion engine with a bad rod to wicked screaming, melting steam like yells! I have just lost a couple day's productivity I can see that now. LOL If you like playing with sound, this is the app for it! Time for some audio fantasies now... Oh, almost forgot. I find Moebius Lab to be rock solid audio wise. With it already running and very busy, I started up AUM and created a session in it for Moebius Lap without a bit of, not even a hint of, audio artifacts! ### 5/5 — Spettacolo *2016-06-29, version 1.0* Le app di questo sviluppatore non sono tra le piú intuitive ma sono molto potenti e interessanti... Ma con moebius lab anche se il prezzo è alto il potenziale è impressionante usando la logica di AUM lo sviluppatore ha creato un applicazione che personalmente e la piú bella, completa, innovativa del 2016 tra gli effetti a mio parere. Their coding is solid. How do I know? Because their apps are never full of serious bugs. They obviously test properly. Here is the plan: Step 1 Open the App Store Step 2 Get at least one and preferably a bunch of Apesoft masterpiece apps. ApeMatrix is a must have. When you have it, you will immediately understand because you will probably use it at least every day or more Step 3 Start up the app(s) and create cool sounds. Make sure you use the built in LFOs that you can use to modulate almost every audio unit when in ApeMatrix Now your life is better because of the extreme musical fun you are having. They are all very creative, brilliant quality, great value for money, and they all have the latest updates required for an iOS app to play ball with other music apps. Fully recommended. This is probably one of the most inventive and complex of all multieffects apps I have ever used.
