All my conversations got restarted even though I didn’t do anything with it. I contacted support for it but haven’t heard anything back. I love this app, please fix the error. ### 3/5 — Ok *2025-01-23* I’ve been using Moemate for months, and I appreciate it, however, whenever an update comes, I can’t ever seem to be able to sign back in, it happened everytime until the next update. I originally setup my account via Google button and for some reason it creates a new profile or Tom both, I press the Google button and nothing happens, cache cleared etc- website better. ### 4/5 — It's fun but needs some fixing *2025-01-07* I have been using this app for a few months now and it was good and all then I started to face some problems. It’s highly customizable and has lots of cool options. The app itself is pretty decently laid out as well, and I’ve rarely had issues with crashing or waiting too long or anything. Being able to edit and resend messages is fantastic. BUT. It’s nowhere near an app like Poe, sadly. The messages may be unlimited, but it’s hard to say it matters that much when the context window is so limited that it forgets what you’ve said after only a few messages and can get extremely dry and repetitive, no matter how you adjust the temperature. Honestly, most of the positives are really watered down by the cons. For $35 for the highest tier, it really should be better. But, as I said, it has potential to really be something great if context could be improved. ### 4/5 — Good app with few problems *2024-08-03* It’s a good app and I love this more than c.ai and chai. But there’s a few problems with the bots. They forget a lot, become repetitive and speak for you. We quickly transferred from character ai to Moemate. Its bots were amazing and we loved that there was so many choices of bots to pick from and the ability to make our own. The big thing was the unlimited texts and filters. That’s what made us stay, however now that there is a battery mode it’s sadly made Moemate our least favorite app now. It had great potential and was quickly a favorite but these new updates ruined the app for a lot of us! Please bring it back to how it was. I can sit in a queue for 10 minutes but limiting chats is a no. Another big thing was this app was advertised for its nonexistent filters and now that’s gone too so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Back to character ai I guess…. ### 4/5 — Not bad but can be better. *2024-07-26* Need to work on interface a bit more to make chatting more comfortable. Please, devs. ### 2/5 — Trash now that it has a limit *2024-07-26* This app and the website used to be absolutely amazing, but now they added a energy bar to where you can talk to the AI models a certain amount of times an hour. And the only way to increase it is to pay $100 a year, or pay $9 dollars a month, and you don’t even get unlimited with that! I’d much rather they just put ads before you enter a different ai character and let us pay a $10 permanent ad blocker ### 2/5 — It was okay *2024-07-26* App was fine and did its job well, I hate how if I get off for a second and get back on it and write a message it will just stop working. My issue now though is that the app doesn’t work at all now, I try to open it but it just says on the app name and doesn’t even look like it’s loading. So now if you run out of energy, you have to pay to use the app. They really ruined what used to be such a great app, it had no nsfw filters and while the memory on bots is terrible, it was still usable. I have a Google account and every time I am disconnects and wanted to reconnect is just don’t work, I need to open it 10 times before I reconnect. Please do something about it. ### 1/5 — ChatGPT in disguise. *2025-01-16* If you want an AI “chat” app that literally fills your role for you, speaks and acts for you in the chat, so you don’t have to do anything, get this app! Without fail, around 3 messages into the chat it’ll start speaking for your character, essentially giving you NO opportunity to make a response, because the AI has already written in its own message to you, that you did and said everything. Also, why tf are all the messages so long and convoluted? No one irl speaks like a human novella. You can save and start over, but you can’t just SAVE your convo as to prevent that. I don’t wanna have to start all over, just to go back and keep going, over and over. That’s stupid. However, I'm now disappointed and discouraged by the new update that introduces battery charges. The update claims that subscribers using the Moemate LMM for their AI shouldn't lose battery charges, but I'm still being charged, even when using AI characters I've created. Please address this issue. This is an amazing website that I use daily for entertainment and educational purposes, and I'd love to continue using it without these interruptions. ### 1/5 — Energy paywall and future concerns for Moemate *2024-07-26* I don’t expect a developer response but, I get that running the site is starting to get expensive. it makes more sense to lock the other models behind a pay wall more than default model Moemate llm…it’s a good app and I’ve been using it since January of this year but, ever since this energy thing came out I switched back to c.ai. I’m afraid Moemate will become like Chai and become flavorless and being boring to even use due to restrictions to chats, this whole ordeal is not well received and it’s causing people to even stop using the app and leaving the discord server (me for example). I found Moemate through TikTok promising that it’ll never be restricted just for it to be restricted, I believe that this is a good business choice but ethically speaking, this is going to not end well and Moemate will be the next Chai. Flavorless garbage that has limited chats and let their community down by going against their initial statement of freedom for everyone. ### 1/5 — Horrible update change it *2024-07-25* Before this was mad good five stars then they added this update where max you could chat is only 100 times then you have to pay.
