I am a life long lover of Moleskine and have used the journals and planners for years. When the digital apps came along, I was very excited but it’s been very hit or miss. The Planner looks good but it’s not smooth to use. I have it on my iPhone and my MacBook Pro but they are not always syncing up and I can’t have that. If I enter an appointment or reminder in one place and have it sync with the other, it’s no good to me. I can’t find any help with this in either app. If I don’t find a fix, then I’ll have to abandon it again. I really am not asking for much. I just want an app that makes it easy to enter events and appts, to then find them, and to have reminders…all consistently between both my iOS and OS devices. Please help.

App function deserves 5 stars but Moleskine rug pulled me out of their Journey app last year and it threw me off for weeks until I built a new system. I will adjust to 5 stars if they do better.

It’s good as a planner and more. The tasks and lists are exactly what I’ve been missing from apple calendar. The design is great and very easy to navigate. I do wish the desktop version wasn’t a clone of the app( looks like your using a phone and doesn’t cover the whole screen in full screen) and was more special and gave more actions or functions. 10/10 would use again.

The free version lacks a lot of options and rather works as advertisement for the pro version. Imported files from other calenders just appear as blurred to make you buy the pro version. I am disappointed and deleted the app immediately. Other free to use options are much richer in functions.

Wow wow wow absolutely loving the new update, a perfect balance between aesthetic and functionality. I don’t know how you guys did it but well done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love how you can make your color selections. Please please please if you guys can give users the option to also add a date and time to sub tasks from a task in a list. Please this would be very very helpful. This would make the app definitely “perfect”!

Es wird ein Bundle von Planer und Journal angeboten. Ich verstehe unter ein Bundle, dass ich einen Preis zur Nutzung beider Applikationen bezahle. Nun gibt es auch für das Journal ein Bundle Angebot mit Planer. Dieses ist allerdings günstiger. Ich verstehe nicht wo da der Vorteil ist. 
Da beim Journal, beim Planer Bundle, aber keine Freischaltung stattfindet ist die Bezeichnung „Bundle“ irreführend. Bitte erklären Sie es mir wie das zu verstehen ist.

Gutted a once beautiful, unique and fun app called Balance that brought out the creative side. Now returns to the left brain center of most planner apps. Also removed the nice secure feel of iCloud sync in favor of a custom sync service that requires sign in (like its other apps). I don’t know what spurred the decision to abandon Balance, but this app is entirely different. It just doesn’t give the pleasant, clear and fun feel that I had when opening Balance.

I’ve been carrying Moleskine for 25 years.  Love everything about the physical, tangible product line.  

Unfortunately the family of apps, ESPECIALLY the planner is the exact opposite.  Doesn’t work well with iOS 26, doesn’t integrate across iPad, MacBook and phone.  Doesn’t capture data well at all.  Isn’t intuitive.  Pen is wonky at best.  $39 dollar subscription?  Moleskine should pay me for damages.  Incredibly disappointed, frustrated and dismayed.

Throw it all out.  Start over.  Work with Skylight, integrate mail and calendar.  Get serious about a digital version on the amazing physical or just leave the space.  Worst UX ever

just wasted my £5. The text overlaps the edge of my iPhone screen. Top and bottom so when I try and hit things at the bottom, I get the ridiculous siri coming up. And then I spend half a week in Luxembourg. I need to change time zones of my appointments so that they are set for the right local time. Doesn’t seem anywhere to be able to change the location.

nach Update vom 04.01.26 („completely redesigned for ios26“) absolut hässliche Schrift in sämtlichen Widgets und der App! 
Die alte war wesentlich prägnanter und stylischer, weshalb ich die App gekauft habe. Das neue Design sieht wie Windows 98 aus.
Bitte unbedingt eine Auswahlmöglichkeit zum alten Design ins nächste Update integrieren, ansonsten wird Abo und App gelöscht.

I don’t want to use this app anymore. You messed it up with the recent update. First, I don’t like the pastel color palette in light mode. It’s too relaxing now. The color psychology of the former palette was perfect. It provided focus and engagement. Productivity shouldn’t feel like a day at the spa. 

Another issue is the Today view. You removed the ability to see the time between tasks. I don’t want to view my day as a timeline because then I have to scroll. The previous layout, which gave the option to show the time until the next activity, was perfect.

Now, when I use the timeline view, I have to scroll up and down. It doesn’t let me set my time blocks between specific hours, so I end up scrolling more than I should. Before, everything was visible at a glance. I don’t want to spend my time scrolling up and down just to see my appointments. I’d rather see a block view that shows all my appointments, even if there’s a three-hour gap between blocks, so I don’t have to scroll.

The best thing about this app was that it provided the information you needed without having to look all over the place. It was right there, front and center. That was the key feature: It provided information clearly and immediately.

Everything was great in the previous update, so why change it to what it is now? It doesn’t make sense. It no longer has the aesthetic that’s advertised in App Store. That’s what I wanted to pay for and now I feel like I’ve been catfished. 

Why do developers do this??? You guys were on the right track. This app was the missing piece to my personal productivity stack. My productivity definitely increased since I’ve been using this. Now I don’t want to look at it.

I’ve been using Moleskin’s TimePage and Actions since 2018 and there have only been minor design updates but not a complete redesign like what you’ve done with this app. What you’ve done would be as if Nike changed their swoosh into a dotted line or some other shape. Don’t you know anything about the laws branding????

Purchased and activated my account through website and email. Went to log in for the first time with the credentials and an authentication error pops up after accepting the terms and conditions. I am unable to use the app. I have tried emailing support multiple time with no response. I am deeply frustrated and have already cancelled my subscription.

Update 10/2/25: I was contacted by email, I answered the questions asked of me but still have not received a resolution.

First time writing an app review but dedication and attention to detail deserve to be recognized! 

Been trying tons and tons of productivity time block planner apps but very few stick with me. I’ve been quick in the past to abandon other apps due to a major flaw or design choice that never gets changed or takes great amounts of time to get updated. I’ve reached out to the Moleskine team personally to request certain features and discuss my opinions and just a week later they roll out updates with my specific needs! Not sure how many app dev teams are working this quick to meet user needs but in my experience this team cares!

1. Хотела бы перетаскиванием задачи на весь день переносить на нужный лот времени. 

2. Еще хотелось бы чтобы можно было настроить цвет списка и размер шрифта. 

3. Больше художественных иконок.

4. Трекер задачи по выполненным пунктам

5. Третий вариант вида списков: карточками 

6. Иконки приоритетов более интересные

8. Дедлайн, сколько осталось времени до, просрочена и на сколько

9. Привычки отдельно выделяются сверху дня

Really love the “Add to lists” option so you can see your events all together in a list for a specific activity and also on the regular calendar. I’ve been looking for this feature since another calendar app removed it many years ago! Makes things so much easier. I would lie to be able to have the share feature for this so I can share the list to other users. The different options for weekly views are great and what I have been also looking for.  A full monthly calendar view for at a glance looks be very helpful.

I am loving the digital planner app from Moleskine. I have always used the XL Weekly planner from Moleskine but have decided to switch to digital. I do wonder if there is a way to add a daily bulleted checklist for ‘to-do/tasks’ for each day to see on the left or right side of each day all on the same screen. Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you!
