This app does not work if they deem your iphone is outdated. Last time i had an iphone x and after a while this app stopped working for me. I tried reinstalling the app and making sure the software on the phone was updated, no dice. I eventually ended up upgrading my phone to the iphone12. This appeared to fix the problem for about 1.5 years. Now it again does not work with my iphone. We know the camera still works because my husband can access it with his Samsung. This is a problem of an acciden occurs and my husband is not with me to be able to pull the footage. I emailed the company because I called over and over again over 2 days and they won’t return my call. So I have no choice but to email. I mentioned in the email that they don’t answer the phone, it goes right to voicemail and the rep responded (the next day James W) to tell me that their phone lines are open from 8-5pst. I’ve tried 6 times over the course of 2 days, left several messages and the only response I got was 1 email. They suggested turning on airplane mode and trying to connect again. Didn’t work. They said if that didn’t work to format the sd card. Did that, didn’t work. Responded to the email to let them know it didn’t resolve the issue. 6 hours and counting , no response. Tried calling in between then and now, as I said, straight to voicemail. I have multiple devices at home including a printer and a Nikon camera which both use similar technology to transfer data but this camera just simply doesn’t work. All my other devices just switch on WiFi and connect to it, done, not this dash cam. And I’m not alone here guys, are you reading your reviews? This WiFi connectivity is a real issue. I’m going back to the install shop tomorrow and I’ll let them have a try at it. $500 to have this installed, should have trusted my gut and cancelled the install appointment. I want a refund, this is ridiculous. ### 1/5 — App keeps crashing *2023-10-04, version 1.9* I went to download the footage due to some items being stolen from my vehicle. The app keeps crashing every time I try to open it. At first I was able to download some footage. But after downloading only a days worth, the app decided it no longer wanted to work. My camera also is not giving off WiFi anymore. All that shows is a blinking red light and when I go to turn the WiFi on, it just makes the start up noise. This app needs a serious update if they want to continue to have customers who are happy with their product. The app is set for Pacific Time, which is correct for my area, but it reads one hour behind what the actual current time is. Selecting the “Day Light Savings Time” switch has no affect. I would like to see this issue fixed. Cause I really like the features the only thing I don’t like about it is I have interference with my remote start and now the remote start only works. 5 feet away and not 1000 feet a way so I’m going to go back and have them move the remote start modules to a different area of the car and see if. It will fix the issue other then that so far so good. I’ll post a update. This app has helped me quickly show video to law enforcement after a crash I was in earlier this year. The app is relatively easy to use. Thanks to quick response from the developers, the WiFi issue that occurred with iOS 13 has been patched and the app is functional again.
