My only problem is that after a week of using this app, I started to get transcripts out of sync. I am getting a text from about a minute before the point in which I press the star button. Support link broken ### 1/5 — Just not stable *2024-01-30, version 3.6* Really nice app. But it crashes all the time. And then you can not even reboot. Such a shame. I attempted to connect to my Readwise account, and ever since it’s just crash, crash, crash… ### 1/5 — Left for dead *2023-08-12* After a major crash, I reinstalled the app. Now I cannot log in to my account. The developer's webpage now refers only to a new app (for video). ### 1/5 — Can’t get started with it *2022-01-05* Tried to import (via application) several times. App goes white screen, waiting has no effect. Uninstalled, reinstalled, tried again, now Momento doesn’t appear in the list of apps that iOS shows when you try Share to Application. iOS is current. **Developer response:** Hi, sorry for the import issue you had. Doesn’t remember play location. *2023-01-27* I have figured out how to work around some bugs, but the one that keeps coming up again and again is that I may put pause for a while, I come back to Momento, and my play location is lost. It’s extremely frustrating. It’s also frustrating trying to find the location by dragging, it’s just very inaccurate. I like the transcription. It is one of the best I’ve tried for podcasts. Unfortunately the app still needs lots of work. ### 3/5 — Fast audio poor quality *2022-10-31* This is very nice overall but the poor quality of the high speed audio is a dealbreaker. Fix that and I will seriously reconsider this app. **Developer response:** Please try the latest update, 3.6 fixes playback speed quality. ### 3/5 — Can’t figure out how to use *2021-09-24* Automatic transcripts sound exciting, but it doesn’t matter if I can’t use it. I usually download a bunch of episodes and add them to the queue. Here you can only go to a subscription then add episodes to a playlist - you cannot add episodes to a playlist from new episode list. And I can’t find the option to download first. I don’t want to blow my data plan while out and about listening to podcasts. Maybe my habits are too shaped by pocket casts to use other apps. (I download and add to queue, or swipe to archive skipping episodes before I start my day listening to my queue. These things cannot seem to be done on this app.) **Developer response:** thanks for trying Momento and sharing your feedback. We will soon be improving the entire downloading experience. This includes more reliable downloads, adding episodes to playlists, and more of what you mentioned. But there’s few that deliver such a clever and nifty feature set and it just keeps getting smarter and better with every update! It automatically loaded my saved podcasts & displays them under a heading specific to my Spotify playlist. However, it is glitchy which is an issue. I’d gladly give it 5 stars if the glitches (doesn’t connect to Spotify, won’t load all podcasts, freezes) could be fixed.
