It has made so much of the process of documentation seamless and easier. I used to be burnt out from writing therapy notes after sessions. I considered stopping private practice due to this stressor. Many times my notes were late. With Moments I can record a live session with my clients and at then end of my session the note is basically done. I am able to be present with my clients and not spend countless hours writing up notes that convey themes, patterns, analyses and everything else that is necessary to record in a soap (or other) note. And the customer service is superb. I love the process of verbally summing up a session, and it’s really helped me to mentally hold onto each session from week to week. My therapy work has improved as a result. Also, Moments has saved me a tremendous amount of time. Whereas I was spending 30 minutes or so each day on notes, now I am spending just about 10 minutes in total. I don’t know what is going on with this app in the last two weeks. It shuts off in the middle of recording. I sometimes can’t open the app. I have had to uninstall the app five times just to get it working. Honestly the app was a real lifesaver in the beginning but now it has become more of a hassle. After today I will be looking for a new app ### 1/5 — Frequently says “failed to authenticate.” *2025-12-18* I used this app for several months, and it worked well. I have had on-going issues with my Apple sign-in. It is not working, and I have not heard back from the developer since I asked a question on how to get this app to work. There has been increased work for me since this app doesn’t work 50% of the time. **Developer response:** Hello, I am so sorry for the issues that you are experiencing accessing your account and for any delay in communication. Did you file a support ticket to support@getmoments.app? Please reach out again so we can ensure you are refunded for your downtime. Can you please try turning off the WiFi on your device and logging in using your cellular data? Once logged in, it should ask you to update your app. We discovered an issue with specific WiFi settings that prevented a few users from authenticating. This has now been corrected and should work for you moving forward. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if you need any support updating to the latest version. ### 1/5 — Will not open on iPad, keeps flickering on both iPads. I tried it on both to be sure it was not my *2025-05-29, version 3.2.0* I was excited about this app now I am very disappointed. It continues to flicker and flash, but it does not open on either of my new iPads. ### 2/5 — Crashes so many times *2026-06-08, version 5.7.0* Continues to crash. Can’t access any of my notes. Will also stop recording if you get a call during the recording. It’s promising and was great for a short time, but can’t even get on to access my notes or to cancel my subscription. ### 2/5 — It worked until it didn’t *2025-12-08* The app is labeled Notetaker on my phone menu. It’s labeled Moments for Therapists on the app main screen. Which is it? An identity crisis is not the only problem though. I spent all day with back and forth emails to try and solve an issue with uploading a session note for processing. Though, I appreciate the quick response, it did not resolve the issue and i am actually in worse shape than when my correspondence began since I now have no access to any of my past notes and my subscription is not recognized. The tech support apparently gave up and simply stopped replying. I have lost faith that I can depend on the app in the future. My team and I will use an alternate app moving forward. There are more organized options out there, including ones that suggest diagnosis automatically based on intake interview conversation. ### 3/5 — Stops working frequently *2026-06-30, version 5.7.0* I like the app when it works, but I’ve had several problems with it. Just stopping working out in the field. It’ll open itself briefly and then immediately close. That’s happened several times. When it’s good, it’s great. ### 3/5 — Update or Bust *2026-01-22, version 5.0.1* I like your app, but the (frequent) forced updates and restricted access until an update is allowed is really disruptive. If I open your app when needed the choice is delay my session or I don’t get to use my subscription.
