## What is Momentum?

Momentum is a habit tracker that rewards keeping things up, not piling things on.

Tick off what you set yourself, build streaks, earn XP, and climb 21 ranks from Iron I to Obsidian III. It is built around a simple idea: three habits kept faithfully are worth more than ten you half-do.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Consistency beats volume. Most trackers pay you per box ticked, so the fastest way up is to add more boxes. Momentum doesn't work that way. You earn for showing up at all, a decaying amount for each habit you complete, and the biggest single bonus for finishing everything you set for the day. Adding an eleventh habit earns you almost nothing and makes that bonus harder to reach.

Optional habits that genuinely cannot hurt you. Now and then you'll be offered a short, time-limited challenge — a week without doom-scrolling, a day without sugar. Take it and it earns XP and a badge. Ignore it and nothing happens: no streak lost, no consistency dented, nothing counted against you. That promise is enforced in the engine, not just written on the card.

A rest day is not a failure. Skipping is a deliberate choice with a small, honest cost, and it is not the same as missing. Streak repair gives you a short grace window, so one bad day doesn't erase a long run.

TRACK WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO

• Daily habits, specific weekdays, or a weekly target — three times a week, any three
• Simple tick-offs, quantities (eight glasses, twenty pages), or things to avoid
• Evening reminders, per habit, at a time you choose
• A week strip showing where you are without opening anything

RANKS, XP AND AWARDS

• 21 levels across seven tiers: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Obsidian
• Awards for streaks, milestones, records, comebacks and fitness
• See how rare each badge is, and where you sit against everyone else
• A full history of every rank you've reached, with the date

APPLE HEALTH

Connect Apple Health and Momentum can award badges for walking, running, workouts, steps and exercise minutes. It only ever reads, never writes, and none of your Health data leaves your device — only the badge you earned is stored.

Everything else works without it.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

No ads. No analytics. No tracking, no advertising identifier, no third-party SDKs collecting anything. There is no feed, no profile and no sharing — nobody can see your habits.
