## What is Monasteries MD?

Mănăstiri MD is the complete guide to the Orthodox monasteries of the Republic of Moldova: 56 holy sites, fully offline, no account required, no ads.

   OFFLINE MAP
The entire map of Moldova ships with the app. You don't need internet to see where the monasteries are, the distance to each, and the route to take.

   56 MONASTERIES
Every monastery of the Metropolis of Moldova: Căpriana, Curchi, Hâncu, Saharna, Țipova, Japca, Frumoasa, Suruceni, Noul Neamț and many more. Each has its own page with photos, brief history, opening hours, patron saint feast (hram), and
  address.

   ONE-TAP NAVIGATION
Open Maps, Waze, HERE, or OsmAnd directly to any monastery — perfect for pilgrimages and weekend trips.

   SMART FILTERS
Filter by district (Chișinău, Strășeni, Orhei…) or type — monasteries for monks, convents for nuns, hermitages.

   THREE LANGUAGES
Romanian, English, Russian — designed for pilgrims and travelers from abroad.

   NO ACCOUNT, NO DATA COLLECTED
The app collects nothing about you. No sign-up. Nothing leaves your device. Your location stays on your phone.

   INDEPENDENT PROJECT
Created with informational support from the Metropolis of Chișinău and All Moldova. Monastery details may vary — please confirm opening hours directly with the monastery before your visit.

For pilgrims, travelers, and anyone curious about history and Orthodox heritage: this app guides you through the villages and hills of Moldova, giving you everything you need for a well-prepared visit.
