The bottom itself is a lifesaver, literally. I can monitor my babies breathing for every nap and through the night. It does however often ring out a stopped breathing alert wrongly, which used to cause huge panic, but I became used to the error alerts and knew they were false. The app itself is fantastic and very easy to use. The batteries last around 3 weeks which is fine, but there’s a problem with the snap rings. We were using one, then it broke. So we started using the other, which broke. There’s an option on the app to message for snap rings, but the company has now closed to there’s no way to get any, therefore no way to now attach the button to my babies clothes. So now I have this expensive, lifesaving device for my baby that I cant use until I figure out how I can make one if that’s even possible

ねんねトレーニング中のベビーモニター代わりに使用しています。

MON BABYセンサーとアプリがあれば、「ちゃんと呼吸してるかな？生きてるかな？」と心配で一日に何度も眠る赤ちゃんを確認して気疲れする必要がありません。これは本当にすごい！
おかげで私自身、日中はリラックス＆集中して家事ができるし、夜はぐっすり眠れています。
万が一の事態には、このアプリがアラートで教えてくれるので安心です。
心配性の私には手放せないアイテムになりました。

高精度なセンサーで、別室にいても赤ちゃんがどのような状態にあるか判断し易く、現在ネントレに大活躍しています。
正直に言うとこれは想定以上の活用法でした。

このアイテムをもっと沢山の方に知ってもらって、少しでも安心して育児できるようになって欲しい。
そんな気持ちから、拙いながらレビューしてみました。

尚、活動アラートは、2段回(正常または激しい)の細かい設定ができたら助かります。
まだまだ長く使用予定なので、今後のアップデートに期待します！

体動グラフの履歴を見れば、睡眠リズム・授乳やオムツ替え頻度を確認できて便利。

防水機能は無い様だが、授乳後の盛大な吐き戻しでセンサー本体が濡れてしまっても数分以内に拭けば大丈夫だった。
(服に装着中は本体の継ぎ目部分が一切隠れている効果が大きい)

今まで誤作動一切無し。精度すごい。

I have a 5 day old that I’ve been using this with and it’s really been giving my wife and I peace of mind. I used to watch him breathe those funny newborn breaths and I could never sleep but when I started using this (and tested if it actually picked up on chest movement), I can rest fully! 

My only issue is the fact that your phone needs to be on the app or unlocked to actually get notifications. I guess it’s good for during the day but at night which is when we primarily use it and would need the alerts, this facet makes the button virtually useless. I tried going through all of my phones settings to see if I can change whether it can go off while it’s locked bc I don’t want to burn out my phone battery all night. An update that will give us alarms while locked would easily make this 5 stars!

My baby is 6 months old and we have appreciated this little device. I love how you can customize the alarms and how easy it is to use in general. Customer service is also great. My two year old somehow broke the snap ring and MonBaby is replacing it for free. 
I only have two complaints, which may be limited to the version that I have (WIFI), but they are: the battery doesn’t last long (maybe two-three weeks) and in order to maintain connection your phone has to be in the same room or very close to it. Other than that, we have been very pleased. Thank you, MonBaby!

We purchased the MonBaby smart button when our first child was born. I felt better and slept better knowing his breathing was being monitored while we slept. The ring snap did break but was replaced within a few days after contacting customer service. We now use it on our second child and are so glad we have this device.

I believe now this app is more stable.
I’m subscribing the premium, so I can check my baby’s sleep details. 
However recently it has a little problem.
If I open the graphs page, I can see the data before I open the page, but I can’t get any graph data after I open the page.
So it’s not timely.
I hope this problem will solve soon.
( if it’s already fixed after this update, I m sorry!)
Anyway, MonBaby helps my baby and my life a lot ! Thank you!

Update:
I didn’t realize but I can get the following data if I press a button looks like “▷” in the page of Graphs even though after I open the Graphs’ page.
I’m sorry for writing a wrong review but I guess it might be better to show app users  how to use (or see) pages.
It was a little bit complicated to find out that for me.

We love this monitor/company for two reasons - 1) the customer service, and 2) the peace of mind it provides. When the back snap piece broke, I reached out to customer service who responded swiftly and had replacement snaps in the mail and at our door within a week. And my dear husband’s plan was to post a 24 hour watch over our little one to ensure she didn’t stop breathing... thank goodness for MonBaby that allows us the peace of mind to catch some z’s while she does too!!

This gave me such peace of mind at night. My son would have some gasping issues at night and once we got this I was able to monitor his breathing and felt safe in knowing it would detect if he stopped breathing (which thankfully he never did). It was also very helpful for when he started to roll over in his sleep, in the beginning it would wake him up cause he didn’t want to be on his stomach. Once I would get the alert I could turn him back over before he would completely wake up. I would highly recommend this to anyone who just wants extra peace of mind at night or while baby sleeps!

Although the ring breaks and the battery dies fairly quickly, my husband and I love app and monitor for our little girl. The company sent us replacement rings as soon as we contacted them. They respond quickly and are wonderful!

This little button has made every night easy. I clip it to whatever she’s wearing and she has it on all day so whenever she naps the app gets turned on right away. If she moves a little to much on her side it’ll have an alert pop up, or if it doesn’t detect movement it’ll let you know. The app doesn’t let your screen die which is awesome. When she first came home I’d fall asleep with my phone gripped in my hand and if I woke up randomly I knew I could check it to see how she was sleeping. I can watch her activity level if I’m in another room and can’t hear her, I know when she’s waking up. Love this thing.

I love the app for the Mon Baby device. It’s pretty easy to set up and use. It definitely lets you know it something is up, like if the baby is on his belly the alarm is blaring you cannot miss it. I like that it’s customizable so I can turn off the rolling alarm. My only issue is I just wish the app could work at a farther distance from the actual device. Other than that it’s great! Customer service is wonderful as well!

I’ve used this product for 3 years and 3 kids. It has given my great peace of mind for all of my children. The customer service is outstanding!! After 3 years it started acting funny and they sent me a replacement! They also reached out to me again to make sure I was satisfied.  I wish every company had such service. The app has given me some issues with turning off in the middle of night, however they told me to close all other apps and they mailed me a new button and all is well now!

Purchased the button which is used nightly. The clip that holds the button cracked. After contacting customer service, we had three replacement clips shipped to us free of charge within a week.

The customer service is fantastic.  But, the app needs lots of improvement. It will randomly disconnect from the button and you have to recalibrate it every time you open the app.  Even if you accidentally close Tontoe app.  Very frustrating but a great concept. There should be a function on the button that will make a sound, not just turn on a light to help you find the misplaced button.

After my son being born extremely premature at just 25 weeks coming home was a worry for us. We therefore looked into monitors we could buy for peace of mind to help us sleep at night. We came across the MonBaby. Absolutely fabulous! So easy to use and set up. 
About 4 days after coming home the alarm was ringing on my phone at about 2am and it was because my baby stopped breathing. 
Luckily we responded quick enough along with an ambulance to save his life. However, without this monitor we would’ve woke up the next morning and it would’ve been too late. 
Incredible piece of equipment!!!

I want to start by saying that this company’s customer service is top notch! However, we’ve experienced many frustrations with this app and the product. The concept is awesome, but app needs many improvements. The app will not run in the background. Meaning your device must be turned on at all times in order for the app to work. The app does not connect to the button more times than it does. It takes me about 15 minutes a night to get the button connected to the app, and sometimes I give up and just hope nothing happens to my son throughout the night! A lot of shutting down the app, shutting down the device, and multiple attempts to connect are included in my nightly routine. This app creates more frustration than its worth in my opinion. The company did reach out and try their best to fix the situation, and for that I am thankful. I do love the concept of the app/monitor, but I think there are still a lot of kinks to work out.

This app rarely stays open through the night for me, which is scary and disappointing. I bought this to make sure my new baby who has had health issues stays breathing at night between feedings. I can't count on this to alert me as it is supposed to. I don't advise purchasing a monbaby monitor until they sort this out.

This monitor worked great when I first purchased it, but now that I've had it for two months it doesn't work the same. I have to change the battery every week, the alarm goes off randomly, the device disconnects from my phone when it's two inches away, and says it's not detecting motion when my son is clearly moving! This was the worst $170 I've ever spent. No wonder they have such a short time to allow returns and refunds. I'd recommend any other monitor than this and Mimo.

When it works it works. However, app will not reconnect when you return in range. I constantly have to delete app and upload again to connect to device.

I must say I do love this app and device however, the Bluetooth range needs serious work.  I would give it 5 stars but the product only works when your in the same room as the baby wearing the device.  If you move more than 3 feet away from it the device disconnects. Please try and fix the Bluetooth range!!

Everything Mallonb said I third! Please consider their suggestions and update the app. Otherwise this thing is useless. Actually, I take that back a little. I can at least get notifications if my son turns over onto his stomach. That is as long as my phone is in the same room as him. Please make a better, more useful app or at least the one that's advertised. Thanks.

Pros

1. Works almost as advertised
2. Alerts are very loud almost like amber alert. This is the best part.
3. Easy setup/install
4. Stays on baby nice and snug.
5. Great battery.

Cons

1. Bluetooth connection is terrible. Barley stays connected more than 10 feet away. You in no way can go all the way outside like the video. I have to leave my iPhone in the babies room to keep connected. This is a pain when an alarm goes off in the middle of the night for a roll over and I have to get up vs just looking at my baby camera monitor next to my bed.

2. What are the premium functions and how to I access them?

3. Needs pause or longer suspend function. 60 secs is not enough time to even change your babies diaper. 

4. Need to add an alert for when there is no motion at all for a period of time. Let the user select from 30 secs, 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, 30 min, and 1 hour. This will let me know if the baby stopped breathing. The activity alert just goes off way too much.

5. Need to Add alert and feature to show if baby is on his side.

6. Need to add the ability to pair more than 1 device at the same time. You can do this with many other apps and it's a built in function of Apples Bluetooth. I am using an iPod touch for now but it's a pain to carry 2 devices around. The iPod makes it easier to pass off to my wife, but allowing us both to pair our phones would be best.

5. Add Apple watch app, this would make it way easier to see your babies current positions and manage alerts.

Own the MonBaby A.
Have the 4.3 Android version on my phone which seems to work significantly better than the 4.1 currently available for my iPad.  Would give the app on Android 5 stars

Issues needing correction on the Apple app
- Initial calibration always occurs despite the feature being turned off in the settings 

- No respiration rate on home screen like Android version

- When sensor is turned on its side, it doesn’t register on app.

Me encanta el botón y la App, hay que mejorar algunas cositas para aumentar la tranquilidad parental, por ejemplo que en la pantalla de monitoreo se pueda ver la señal del dispositivo, lo que sería muy útil cuando se pierde dentro de casa. Por otro lado, sería genial alguna imagen que represente la frecuencia respiratoria del bebe o los movimientos de la pared torácica. Muchas gracias

I have been using this for 17months now, give me such a peace of mind while my little one is napping or sleeping at night. I can attach it to any pj or onesie. The batteries are easy to find on Amazon for cheap. I have recommended this to everyone I know having a new baby. Definitely better then the sock thingy that baby’s can kick off !!

We have used this device for both of our babies and it has been amazing. I couldn’t sleep with my first baby because I would stay up watching him breathe. It’s so nice knowing his breathing is being monitored so I can get some sleep! 
This company also has great customer service! The snap ring broke and they’re replacing it for free. They responded to our email the next day with tracking info and everything. Really appreciate them.

I am now on child #2 and have used this monitor for both. I absolutely love it! First, the cost in comparison to monitors like Owlet is outrageous! I paid 1/3 the cost of the Owlet but you really can’t put a price on the peace of mind it gives you when your baby sleeps. It’s super easy to use; the app is GREAT and I have had zero issues with both monitor and app. I’ve tested the monitor for breathing and also for turning over, which are my two biggest concerns and it alerts you IMMEDIATELY if there is an issue with a loud and obnoxious alarm (which is great and will definitely wake you up!). The ONLY issue I’ve had is that the snap for the button does break easily; however, I emailed the company and they shipped another snap within 2 hours of my email, without question. 

Excellent product and excellent company!! Highly recommend!

Bought this November 2019 since I would be taking care of my grandson.  Great alert settings for if he has rolled over on his side, belly or back or if breathing stops!!  I use it every time he naps and it works great!    Should you ever have a problem or question, their customer service is outstanding!!  They answer quickly and work to resolve any issues you have!  Highly recommend!!
