## What is Monee?

From your morning fare to the month's rent, see where your money goes. Monee is an expense tracker and budget planner for everyday spending in Kenya, with every amount in Kenyan shillings (KES).

Turn messages into organised records
Paste or share a supported M-Pesa confirmation, select a category and save. Record cash purchases, income and transfers too. Monee does not read your iPhone's SMS inbox or automatically capture messages.

See the picture behind your payments
Review spending by week, month or year. Category breakdowns, spending charts, daily averages and transaction fees help you understand the numbers without digging through messages.

Give each category a limit
Set monthly budgets for groceries, food, transport, rent, bills and more. Compare spending with your limits and see what is left.

Keep Monee close
Check spending and budgets from Home Screen widgets. Use quick actions and Siri Shortcuts to reach everyday tasks, and choose a colour theme that feels like you.

Your records, across your Apple devices
Start without a Monee account. Enable optional iCloud sync in Settings to keep transactions and budgets on devices using the same iCloud account. Signing up later keeps your existing records. Sync requires an internet connection and available iCloud storage; background timing is controlled by iOS.

Keep useful records
Find past transactions and export an Excel workbook with transactions, a period summary, category totals and budgets. Manual tracking and saved records work offline. Excel exports are readable reports, not files you can import to restore your ledger.

Monee is an independent expense tracker, not a bank, payment service or loan app. It does not move money or ask for your M-Pesa PIN, and is not affiliated with Safaricom or M-Pesa. Insights are informational, not personalised financial advice.
