Once you provide evidence of transfers, they ask you for additional information. They have now asked for video evidence of me logging into my exchange and showing them the transfer, even though I have provided screenshots and other video evidence of the transaction ID, which in itself proves the actual transfers and they can view themselves, but they are now insisting on me showing video of logging in. I have asked them what other information they need after I provide this evidence, yet they ignored the question and asked me again for the video of logging in. I have again asked them to provide me all the information they need before i keep providing additional information, yet no response. I will keep this comments review updated, but it is clear they are stalling and simply a scam. 25-Sep-2024 - all the information has been provided to them yet they have updated the review to state they require all the information requested. Anyone knows the tx hash is pretty much the only information required to prove the transaction happened, yet i have provided that to them and more. This is clearly proving more and more to be a scam. Waiting for their email response now to answer the questions they keep avoiding. The next step is apparently their finance department, as they have claimed, which no doubt will ask for personal ID, which will be used with all the other information they have collected to access banks, and other exchanges. Developer, please answer all the questions required and if you are sincere, then provide all the questions required that you need to release my illegally withheld funds. Don’t download this app. All the information I got for people actually running it are in Russia. They will ask you for your personal info after they steal your money, don’t do it, don’t download it in the first place. Is a SCAM, Apple should cancel this for fraudulent activity. They don’t even post status update on their webpage about this issue, KYC scam. Don’t ever send money to this wallet, you will lose it and they will always have a new story on why it happened. I need a date on when this is issue is going to be resolved, I can’t believe how they did not blocked the deposit button on their app if deposits are not working. I need a solution, not a “we are working on it”. Were we scammed? Edit: so this means that funds will be received? Yes is a scam. I reached out to customer support and after three attempts at getting them to help me they literally flat refused to tell me whether my deposit was safe or not. They plainly told me that they would not tell me if my funds were safe and then I would only get more information from them after their upgrade was finished. Obviously, this is the literal definition of the runaround and worst possible customer service that you could have. Please share your ticket number or User ID. ### 1/5 — FreeWallet is a Scam, Warning to All *2024-04-09* Like many others have complained in the reviews FreeWallet will hold your deposit/receive hostage. When I signed up it didn’t say anything about needing KYC to withdraw or send. Recently I tried to send my coins to another wallet and my account was frozen. They then asked me for KYC and 100 other things that they should not even have the right to ask for, I complied to all! They just keep coming up with something else they need ever time! Many people on here are complaining about $10-$100 be locked up, well they have $35k + of my coins locked. I am being forced to have to hire an attorney to recover the funds if any! Talk about a worst nightmare of an app! Customer service is terrible! 40+emails in thread and no resolution. Do not take a chance with even $1 of your coins, this company is the biggest scam in the market place! The support team is extremely slow and makes things a lot more complicated then they have to be. Most times when I send them an email back, it takes a week for them to reply! I’ve proven that I own the phone number, along with the other email (that has been attached to the account longer than the refs t email I tried to add) I even emailed them from the very same email that won’t receive 2FA just to confirm I own that as well. Also, I sent them in every piece of extensive verification that they wanted, but it’s still been over a week…absolutely pathetic, and they just reply with canned responses when I inquire…there’s no reason it should take this long to update an email when I’ve proved account ownership. Going on 2 days cannot access any XMR. Without warning locked all XMR to do a system upgrade. no response from support whatsoever. Waited over 30 minutes to talk to live support for no one came to the chat. They will respond how they are doing a system upgrade but it’s going on 2 days without warning. Situation is being handled poorly. Regardless money is held up without warning and withdrawals cannot be done which is the whole purpose or a wallet to send and receive transactions. People need to access their funds when they need them I need to make payments but cannot since everything is locked up which is absolutely ridiculous not to mention how long the “upgrade” is going. No updates when will be back online Withdrawals are important and shouldn’t be messed with not to mention for as long as they have. I’m incredibly dissatisfied.
