Based on the points being 375 per task and the payout rate being $5 per 5000 points this is slave labour. This is assuming it pays 5usd, if the $5 is nzd then its about $1.30 nzd an hr!: Each job pays around NZ $0.65 (based on the $5 USD = NZ $8.70 conversion and 375-point calculation). • The job involves walking to the shop, taking photos, answering questions, maybe a selfie, and walking back. Even if you live next door, that’s a 10–20 minute job minimum. Let’s use 15 minutes as a fair average. Now, 15 minutes per task = 4 tasks per hour. At 65 cents each, that’s 4 × $0.65 = $2.60 NZD/hour. If it takes 20 minutes per task (three an hour), you’d earn $1.95 NZD/hour. If you somehow manage to bang them out in 10 minutes flat (six an hour), you’d hit a whopping $3.90 NZD/hour. To put that in perspective, the NZ minimum wage is $23.50/hour.
