Have reported it but nothing changed yet and now considering using another finance package. ### 3/5 — Interface is Trying *2026-03-30, version 8.1.13* I was an early adopter of Money, and then left it for quite a while, and recently, as Quicken upped their subscription fees, I thought I’d give it another go. Unfortunately the UI is just a pain to work with. There are no quick keys for anything. As part of my accounting I add receipts to my interactions, a drag and drop option on a lot of other accounting apps, but here, you have to pull up the pop up menu, then drag and drop. And then, it doesn’t attach the file or copy it to a new directly, it just links to it on your computer. So you need to keep everything organized and named. And then there’s the split function. I don’t get the apps that don’t automatically calculate for splits, but require you to do the math yourself. It’s super frustrating for those of us who are splitting off shipping or taxes, (which I have to do with 90% of my credit card transactions.) It just slows the entire process down so much. And of course, there’s not much in the way of reports etc. It’s just not a good interface for actually doing any work. ### 2/5 — No longer supports my bank *2026-02-28, version 8.1.12* I’ve been using Money app for about 5 years. I’ve recommended it to people, but unfortunately I can no longer support them. They stopped supporting my bank several months ago, but didn’t inform me. I’ve been trying various ways to connect my bank and money app again, but to no avail. When reaching to customer service, all I received was “we’re working on it”, and then silence. ### 2/5 — Hopeless *2026-02-13, version 8.1.12* This app is ridiculously slow to connect to banks. Days. And then it is often incorrect. I’d love to find an alternative account aggregator. ### 2/5 — It tracks your expenses at best *2026-02-03, version 8.1.12* No updates, just bug fixes. I’ve been using this a while now, and you still have to physically input the period with every transaction. It would be nice to get some new features, but I don’t think this app is a priority with the developers. Very easy to use and set up with improved user interface from the old version I was using. Does just what I want it to do, highly recommended. ### 2/5 — Great app ruined by unreliable bank sync and no support *2025-11-07, version 8.1.9* I’ve been using Money since the early versions, long before the App Store. It used to be a simple and dependable bookkeeping app, which was perfect for small personal or business use. Unfortunately, the recent versions rely on a third-party service (Salt Edge) for bank connections, and that system is fragile. Once a bank connection breaks or links to the wrong account, there’s no clear way to reset it. My personal and business accounts got mixed up, and six days later I’m still waiting for a reply from support. The app itself is still elegant and the right level of simplicity for basic bookkeeping, but the unreliable sync and complete lack of customer support make it very difficult to trust. If you plan to enter your data manually, it’s still a solid choice. But if you expect reliable bank syncing or helpful support when things go wrong, be prepared for frustration. ### 3/5 — It doesn’t synchronize *2025-10-26, version 8.1.9* Very useful App. But it doesn’t synchronize to my other devices. I tried everything… ### 5/5 — Огонь! *2025-08-15* Главная фишка программы: счета и категории сложены в один список, что не характерно для программ любительского класса! То есть в одной записи можно учесть покупки и для себя, и для того парня (перевод суммы на другой счет). Еще здесь категории не делятся на категории доходов и категории расходов. Ничто не мешает в подкатегориях одной записи увидеть и положительные и отрицательные суммы. Ваши крокодилы, вы их и спасайте! В списке транзакций всегда видна валюта списания. Работа с валютами вообще мощно реализована — при переводе со счета на счет для каждой половины транзакции можно указать свой курс! Но это приходится держать в голове если курс банка не соответствовал официальному курсу, то есть всегда. Счета можно группировать в папки, обожаю настраивать логотипы контрагентов, теги здесь цветные, списки аккуратные — сплошной позитив. Во всем чувствуется, что ребята из Jumsoft и сами пользуются своей программой. База данных хранится в iCloud и привязана к моей учетной записи. Для меня это плюс — финансы личные, зачем их хранить где-то еще? Да и оплачивать место на левом хранилище нет смысла, пока ты не пользуешься им профессионально. Для более серьезной бухгалтерии я бы рекомендовал еще одну жемчужину Аппстора — Easy Books Accounting. Не в моих правилах упоминать в отзывах другие программы, но! Во первых, они не конкуренты ни по цене, ни по классу, во вторых, найти последнюю можно только случайно, или зная название: место 122 в топе бесплатных (не обольщайтесь), и место 78 в топе кассовых приложений раздела Бизнес. А в топах раздела Финансы ее и в помине нет. Но я отвлекся, возвращаюсь. Пять звезд поставил под впечатлением от внезапного появления долгожданного времени транзакции — теперь порядок записей наконец в порядке. Есть и хотелки Хочется простых выписок по отдельному счету с перечислением следующих данных: • бизнес (см. ниже); • дата отчета; • счет; • период отчета; • состояние счета на конец периода; • список транзакций с логотипами контрагентов; • состояние счета на начало периода. Хочется ведения нескольких баз данных (бизнесов и т. п.). На macOS это мог бы быть выбор в меню, на iOS — выпуск нескольких абсолютно идентичных приложений, отличающихся только иконками (можно настраиваемыми). Пусть каждое по отдельности стоит одинаково, их можно со скидкой предлагать в пакете. Идея не моя, я встречал подобное в AppStore, не благодарите. ### 2/5 — Nice Look and Feel. but Accounts don’t Balance *2025-07-20, version 8.1.5* Having tried many packages, I tried the trial option of this product linked to my bank accounts and syncing via iCloud. While the product looks nice and is easy to use, it even shows pending banking transactions which is good, the figures never balance accurately between the bank, the desktop app and the iPhone app. Syncing with the Open Source link seems to create spurious transactions that dont exist, none of the available or current balances match the bank accounts making it difficult to know exactly where you are. Each time the app syncs with the bank, the numbers change constantly (even without any additional transactions being added). I then tried the iCloud sync to a phone and ended up with the Phone showing totally different numbers to the desktop and bank. Again each time the phone synced, the numbers kept changing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Verification code nightmare *2026-06-25, version 9.0.1* You have to log into the bank every time, it takes very long time to connect each bank, and now I don’t even get to the verification code screen to enter it! It’s not working! ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-05-25, version 9.0* Hate this painfully generic icon they just updated to instead of making the unique wallet icon into a liquid glass design. There doesn’t seem to be any liquid glass within the app as stated. Same constant nag to go premium every single time I open the app. An inconvenience I’ve expressed willingness to pay for to go away (like a cheaper ad-free subscription). I wonder if the developers realize that after seeing this nag 10,000 times people might be more interested in deleting the app than buying premium. ### 1/5 — Does not work as advertised *2026-05-14, version 8.1.13* No longer sync’s between devices, does not download transactions from financial institutions. Seguramente me iba a enterar cuando ya llegase a ese número y me resultase mandatorio suscribirme porque si no hubiese perdido el tiempo y los datos. Me parece una práctica comercial muy deshonesta. Ich kann meine Einkaufs Bons einscannen oder Dateien sowie Fotos zu jedem Einkauf hinzufügen. Des Weiteren kann ich den Einkaufsort mit Datum und Uhrzeit und Text oder Notizen ergänzen und das alles noch unterteilt in selbst anlegbaren Kategorien und Konten. Die Suchfunktion darf auch nicht fehlen, sie hat mir schon so manches Mal geholfen, wenn ich nicht mehr wusste bei welchem Chinesen die Entenbrust nochmal leckerer war, einfach schnell meine Notizen durchsucht und schon hatte ich den Futterlieferanten herausgefunden. Herrlich, ich benutze die App schon seit ein paar Jahren und bin immer noch sooo begeistert! Macht bitte weiter so 👍 Einfach nur top. The forecasting is my favorite (only wish it was easier to get to (several clicks)) but has helped us budget our money and handle all the comings and goings.
