## What is MoneyLogger?

MoneyLogger is a private budget planner and expense tracker for people who want to know where their money goes — without sharing that with anyone.

SMART BUDGETS THAT LEARN AS YOU SPEND

Set a monthly budget for any category. MoneyLogger suggests a starting amount based on your last 6 months of spending, so you don't have to guess. Suggestions update continuously as your history grows — but only for categories you haven't budgeted yet. Once you've set a budget, MoneyLogger never touches it.

Categories without a budget stay unbudgeted. No forced zero-based system. Start with the one or two categories you actually want to control.

ROLLOVER, YOUR WAY

For each category, you decide whether unspent budget rolls over to next month. The toggle is symmetric — if a surplus rolls over, so does a deficit. Honest by design. Toggle changes apply at the next month boundary, so the current month's balance is never rewritten.

PACE AND PROGRESS

Every budget shows a progress bar and a pace indicator. See at a glance whether you're on track to land under, on, or over your limit by month end. Notifications trigger at 80% and 100% of spent-to-date — with pace-aware copy that tells you not just where you are, but where you're heading.

EXPENSE TRACKING THAT FEELS FAST

Log an expense in seconds. Choose from your own custom categories. Support for recurring bills and subscriptions. Multi-currency conversion built in. Full offline mode — every feature works without an internet connection.

MONTHLY SUMMARIES

See total spending by category for any month. Compare against your budget. Export your data anytime — it's yours.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Most expense trackers make money from your data. MoneyLogger doesn't. There is no analytics on by default, no third-party tracking SDKs, no advertising. Your Google Play Data Safety declaration confirms it: no data collected, no data shared.

If you enable optional sync, your data is encrypted in transit. If you don't, it never leaves your device.
