## What is MoneyMap?

Paid every two weeks? Most budgeting apps assume you aren't.

MoneyMap plans around your real pay cycle, then shows one number: what's
safe to spend today, after the bills and goals you've already committed to.

BUDGET AROUND YOUR PAYCHECK, NOT THE CALENDAR

Weekly, biweekly, twice a month, or monthly if that's what you want. Your
budget starts on payday and runs to the next one, so the money in front of
you is money you can actually use.

• Spending plans that match how you're paid
• See which bills land before your next payday
• Plan ahead when income or hours change
• Built for irregular income too: hourly, gig, tips, and freelance

KNOW WHAT'S SAFE TO SPEND

One clear Safe-to-Spend number that updates as you spend. It already
accounts for upcoming bills and the goals you're funding, so you can decide
at the checkout without doing math in your head.

• Automatic expense and category tracking
• Recurring bills and forgotten subscriptions, detected for you
• Savings and debt-payoff goals that fund themselves
• Secure bank connections powered by Plaid

ONE SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD

Invite your partner and share the same balances, bills, goals, and
Safe-to-Spend number. You pay once. Other budgeting apps run about $15 a
month, or charge extra for a second person. MoneyMap is $5.99 a month or
$49.99 a year, and that covers everyone on your account.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Your financial data is stored locally on your device
• Sync is encrypted end to end
• Face ID and Touch ID lock the app
• No ads, and we never sell your financial data

Stop guessing what your balance means. Know what's safe to spend.

### 5/5 — Convenient and user friendly

*2026-08-26*

Once I got the hang of it, it’s extremely helpful and has helped me save money every month on purchases i wasn’t consciously tracking

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I'm glad that MoneyMap is able to help you! If you ever have any issues, please reach out.

### 5/5 — For budgeting apps

*2026-07-31*

For a budgeting app this one works amazing, super simple setup, and amazing features for either free or paid.

### 5/5 — The worthwhile option for budgeting

*2026-07-25*

I've been looking for an app like this for ages! Setting up an account takes only a few minutes, and the interface is so user friendly. The subscription itself is budget friendly too- so much better than the big name options out there!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Hearing that setup took only a few minutes is exactly what we were aiming for, and keeping the price friendly was a deliberate choice, not a launch promo. If there's anything you'd want to see added, we read every note sent to support@moneymap.cc

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-15*

App works great and the developer is very responsive. I have tried maybe 3 or 4 other apps this year and so far this one is my favorite.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for budgeting by paycheck!

*2026-07-13*

I’ve tried several budgeting apps over the years, and this one stands out because it’s simple, intuitive, and focused on real-life budgeting. I like being able to see exactly what I can spend between paychecks instead of just looking at a monthly budget. The interface is clean, transactions are easy to review, and it helps me stay on top of my finances without feeling overwhelming.

If you’re looking for an app that makes paycheck budgeting easy and helps you stay organized, I definitely recommend giving MoneyMap a try. Looking forward to seeing how it continues to improve with future updates!

**Developer response:** This is a better summary of why we built MoneyMap than anything on our own store page. Monthly budgets just don't match how most people actually get paid, so seeing what's spendable between checks is the whole point. More improvements are on the way, and we appreciate you trying it after so many other apps.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-07-13*

I’m so glad I found this app. Everything is user-friendly and I already feel more confident about managing my finances.

**Developer response:** Feeling more confident about your money is the result we care most about, so this made our week. Thanks for giving MoneyMap a try, and reach out at [support email] any time something feels harder than it should be.

### 5/5 — Great and easy to use!

*2026-07-12*

Everything needed a few permissions and all of my transactions were ready to track and budget.

**Developer response:** Glad the account connection went smoothly. We ask for as few permissions as we can get away with and try to get your transactions ready to budget right away, so it's good to hear that landed. Thanks for the review!

### 5/5 — The budget app I have been looking for

*2026-07-12*

I tried all the other ones like monarch and paying 15 a month for a app that’s supposed to help save money seems crazy. This app is under half the price and allows me to actually plan my check out. Highly recommend

**Developer response:** Paying a premium for an app meant to help you save never sat right with us either, which is why the price is where it is and where we plan to keep it. Planning your actual paycheck instead of an abstract month is the core idea, so it's great to hear it's clicking. Thanks for recommending us.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2026-07-11*

I’ve been looking for a good app to budget and this is exactly it!

**Developer response:** Short and very good to hear. Thanks for taking the time to leave a rating, and if you ever hit something that could work better, support@moneymap.cc reaches us directly.

### 5/5 — My favorite way to budget!

*2026-07-10*

Runs seamlessly and alleviates the mental load from budgeting. Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, Emma! We’re thrilled to hear the app makes budgeting feel seamless and lightens the mental load. We really appreciate your recommendation!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.12 — 2026-08-22

Various bug fixes and enhancements

### 1.4.11 — 2026-08-14

New: envelope budgeting and spending charts that compare your pace month over month. Plan your next paycheck in under two minutes.

### 1.4.10 — 2026-08-10

Envelope budgeting is here. Pick it instead of safe-to-spend and every
category becomes its own envelope showing exactly what's left.

Spending now charts your pace through the month against a typical month,
so you can tell at a glance if you're ahead or behind.

Weekly recap is rebuilt: it compares your week to your recent average,
includes income, and flags subscription price hikes.

Creating a goal is now a few short steps, and the math behind your goals
  is more accurate.

Fixes: recovery key no longer marks itself saved when it isn't,
subscription price-hike alerts are consistent, and updates arrive on the
first app open instead of the second.

### 1.4.8 — 2026-07-30

• New during setup: see how your money data stays private, locked on your phone where only you can read it
  • A fresh new look for the sign-in screen
  • Recurring items on the calendar now show their merchant and category
  • Reduce-spending goals now appear as a budget meter, so you can see how much room is left this month
  • A savings goal linked to its own account now tracks your progress automatically
  • Fixed saving your recovery key to a file, a nudge to re-save your key after signing out, and the what-if slider sometimes going back a screen

### 1.4.6 — 2026-07-28

Goals got a full overhaul: track spending-reduction goals, let sinking funds fill themselves each payday, and hear about it when you hit a milestone.

• Irregular income — mark income as variable and your plan works from what actually arrives
• Shared accounts — manage sent and received invitations in one place, with a notification when someone joins
• A weekly recap arrives Sunday morning, so the week starts with a clear picture
• Onboarding is shorter and starts with your goal; anything you skip can be picked up later from the home screen
• The Spending tab now opens on the plan that covers today
• Adding a category to a plan suggests a cap based on what you actually spend

Also fixed: a sync crash on duplicate records, the account rename field, drawers hidden behind the keyboard, and a batch of Android display issues.
