Downloaded the app worst decision so far am not sure why sure App exist in the first place. Shady behavior from Moniepoint *2025-09-10* I made a transfer to my MonieWorld GBP on 3rd September 2025. The funds did not arrive into the account within two hours so I contacted Moniepoint support team and was informed that the transaction was not completed from the other bank. I reached out to the UK bank and they checked their system and told me that the transaction was indeed successful and also provided an FPID number for the transaction (which can only be generated when a funds have been received by the receiving bank). I sent this FPID number to Moniepoint and they repeatedly insisted that they did not receive any funds and the transaction was not completed. I then asked the originating bank to initiate the process of reclaiming the funds after waiting to see if the funds will be reversed (this was about a week later). After they reached out to Moniepoint, I got an email from Moniepoint now saying that they received the funds on the 3rd of September and were conducting some checks on the funds. Why would a responsible organization lie about not receiving funds only to come out clean after I initiated the process of reclaiming the funds from the other bank. Very dishonest behavior from MonieWorld. As at today, they are still yet to release the money causing me financial distress. What happens is that anytime I try sending money to a beneficiary, I’m being asked to input the details again and when I do, it tells me ‘beneficiary already exists’. The search bar is also not the best in searching for beneficiaries. This is a pain I wish would be resolved soon and I trust the team to fix it.
