Now I can't upload only HEIF files; I have to upload them together with RAW, which takes much longer and takes up way more space. Please bring back the sorting filters. ### 3/5 — Buggy, freezes, disconnects…but cheap *2026-07-19, version 1.5.5* Using with Sony a6700. It’s better than creator app, but what isn’t? lol. It regularly gets stuck on a mode and won’t let me see the other tools. Randomly crashes and won’t reconnect. Dodgy all round. But it sure is cheaper than buying a monitor ect. So there’s that. ### 2/5 — DON’T BUY IT *2026-07-18, version 1.5.5* I promises a lot of nice tricks, but after purchasing the tricks are all faulty and often times it would crash. I requesting a refund twice and they denied it; so apparently it seems that they know the app is faulty, but they’re hoping that they can still make money from a few persons who fell for the TikTok ads. ### 2/5 — Offline mode. *2026-06-27, version 1.5.4* The app is great, especially if you use a wired connection. But if you're in a forest or underground where there is no internet connection, the app will constantly ask you to manage it. And if you don't check your premium subscription before a trip to an area with no reception, the Pro features probably won't work. 🥲 ### 4/5 — Good, but with one annoying flaw. *2026-06-12* This app is really good. Basically no latency over USB, full camera control, just awesome stuff. There is one issue. For some reason, there is an arbitrary limit that the app cannot be used offline. I get it for wireless use, I imagine that needs WiFi. However, with USB, that’s a little silly. What’s worse is that I know it works over USB with no network access, because if I select the camera before the app realizes, then it loads in and shows the output perfectly fine. But then as soon as it realizes it forces the camera to disconnect and throws a hissy fit about it. I just needed the SET-UP directions from a the app called.., “shutter - Sony remote camera app”. To get it to work via usb… because it won’t work via WiFi or Bluetooth at all… ### 2/5 — Needs work *2026-02-14, version 1.5.0* Honestly, it’s a great app, but the reason why i’m giving it two stars is because the button to start recording or take a picture on an iPad is ridiculously small almost to the point where you can’t activate it. More times than not I end up changing the tracking to that area because it’s so hard to press. ### 2/5 — Love Hate relationship *2026-02-12* I love this app, but the thing is that it is very unreliable even with wired connection. It will just keep getting disconnected and I would have no idea if my video was still recording or not. It’s an amazing app. Don’t get me wrong, but the thing is that it has stability issues, and that really needs fixing. There’s no integration, which is outrageous. No lag wired YAB connection *2026-01-03, version 1.4.9* I have a Sony A7iii (A7M3) & A7C, IPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Pro 11 M1, IPhone 11 Pro Max… and the Monitor+ app is absolutely brilliant and runs on all of these flawlessly (NB I paid for the pro version, worth every penny!) I use a USB-C to USB-C cable to my iPad and 15PM, for the 11PM I use a USB-C to USB-A cable, connected to a lightning camera adapter, and everything works flawlessly, no lag at all. I’ve been using it more and more lately and now leave my smallHD monitor at home and just use my iPhones! Невозможно работать ### 1/5 — Not a reliable option *2026-05-08, version 1.5.2* When pressing the tracking it no longer allows you to target a certain part of the screen seems to only target the center. Ever since they made it this way, my tracking is not reliable anymore. It’s been a while now and no update has been done. So I would not recommend this anymore. Plus camera capture button on the iPad is extremely small making missing it while shooting extremely easy. ### 1/5 — Do not update *2026-02-26, version 1.5.1* Completely unreliable update the auto focus will no longer allow you to focus on specific points instead, it seems to do it in a grid which unfortunately makes your camera lose focus. Also, you cannot follow specific things like for instance a piece of food being picked up because it only allows you to use a grid not the specific point. Completely messed up my shoot Plus, the zone lines are only in the center. So you cannot tell if you’re within them or not.. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-12-07, version 1.4.7* Sony A1, won’t connect.
