## What is Monity?

Monity gives you a detailed insight into your own finances. 

With the help of the transaction system, you will always get the latest statistics about your income and expenses. In addition, you always have an overview of your cash flow.
The investment system also allows you to visualize your assets over time. With minimal input and maximum efficiency, any number of investments are tracked and the sum of all assets is displayed.

Best of all, you alone decide which transactions and investments are entered. All data is stored only locally on your smartphone to ensure the necessary security. However, to back up the data or transfer it between devices, encrypted backup files can be created as often as you like.
