## What is Monkeys Go Bananas?

You are a god. Your followers are monkeys. Your orders are mostly about
bananas, and they are doing their best.

Monkeys Go Bananas is a turn-based strategy game that fits in a coffee
break. One island, thirty turns, one rival god who wants it more than you do.
Take villages, research philosophy, feed your cities, and decide — every single
turn — whether to build something or hit someone.

A new island every day, and everybody gets the same one. Keep the day's
decree — win without losing a city, hold four at once — and see what it does
to your score.

Twenty minutes, start to finish. A whole empire between two trains.

Three tribes, three tempers. Gorillas hit harder and heal slower.
Capuchins think faster and fight worse. Bonobos improve any land they stand
on. Every one of them has an edge somewhere, and finding it is half the game.

A rival who wants the island more than you do. Three difficulties. The
hardest will besiege your capital, starve your cities, and finish what it
starts.

Learn it in one match. A guided lesson plays a real game beside you and
gets out of the way the moment you stop needing it.

One island a day, for everybody. The same ground, the same monkeys, the
same thirty turns — and your own score at the end of it.

Dare Somebody to Beat Your Island

Finish your island. Dare a friend to beat it. Same ground, same monkeys, your score waiting.

• Watch your score happen. Numbers pop where you earn them — new ground, a kill, a town — gold for gains, red for losses.
• Take a city, watch the walls fall. Ghosts rise from the rubble — yours when you lose one too.
• Zoom in close. Sharper faces, tidier towns, and the picture holds still through a pinch or a wander off.
• Everybody fights harder. Gorillas take more hits before they fall. Rivals stop sightseeing and come at you instead.
• A nudge when you need one. Elder Tip's one tap away, upgrades show their bananas, and a hard loss leaves one clue — where the rival got ahead.
• The island grows new dressing. Fresh trees, mountains, beasts. New fish and mines in research art. Roofs wear tribe colours.
