## What is MonkeyThorn Meet?

MonkeyThorn Meet is a video calling app for conversations that should stay between the people in them.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED WITH THE FULL INVITE LINK
Every meeting gets its own passphrase. It travels in the invite link after the # sign, a part of the link that is never sent to our servers. When everyone joins with the full link, audio and video are encrypted on each device and our servers only relay data they cannot decrypt. The app shows "Encrypted end to end" before you join and throughout the call, and warns you before you join a room without a passphrase.

NO SERVER-SIDE AI, NO RECORDINGS
Calls are never transcribed, summarized or used to train models. There is no server-side recording.

MINIMAL DATA
No tracking, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We keep only what routing and billing need: call durations for 30 days, room event counts for 7 days, and the meetings you save until you delete them.

IN THE APP
- Paste an invite link to join; it carries the passphrase
- Check your camera and choose mic and camera before you join
- The other person fills the screen; your video is a corner you can move
- Mute, camera, front and back camera, speaker or AirPods
- Picture in Picture keeps the call on screen while you use other apps (your camera pauses in the background)
- Screen sharing, and shared screens shown in full
- Waiting room: the host admits or denies each guest
- Schedule meetings and share their invite links
- Call anyone on a modern browser at meet.monkeythorn.com

PRICING
Free calls run up to 30 minutes. For longer calls, buy time in the app:
- 5 hours or 20 hours: one-time purchases that never expire
- Unlimited monthly: an auto-renewing subscription you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings
Time is metered per participant: a two-person call for 30 minutes uses one hour.
