Worthy to buy. ### 5/5 — Intuitive *2019-08-23* Sometimes you know what you want so you can go to an app that has a selection of classic film simulations. Other times you want something more intuitive, something that lets you experiment with values without tying you down to sliders, something that lets you feel the process of black and white conversions. Monokrom is that app. If you’re serious about black and white, you need this app in your toolbox. Developer is very responsive too. I reported an issue specific to the IOS beta and he fixed it in a couple of days and added iPad Pro support too. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Clearly Wonderful *2019-03-03* This is one of the best interface designs I have seen in a number of years. It is infinitely variable and extraordinarily precise. Wish more photo editors employed this approach rather than the ubiquitous sliders... It reads or converts RAW files and saves as TIFF. My only wish would be the ability to zoom into an image to view very subtle changes in grain etc., but that might not be possible with the positional pucks... Photoshop-like controls for each colors conversion to brightness would be nice too. The ability to take photo from the app wouldn't hurt. And finally, an update for the bigger phone screens would be nice. But so far this is the most powerful black and white photo app I've found to date.
