### 4/5 — Stuck!

*2026-07-06*

I just got to grips with the controls, but now I’m stuck & I cannot get back to the corridor which leads to the drilling room to collect the crank rod. The bit I need to tap on is right in the bottom right corner, which is too close to the edge of my iPad & it brings up my home page!! If I cannot move forward then I’ll have to delete and get a refund. I have tried contacting the developers but the link has expired! Bloody annoying

### 3/5 — Slow and boring

*2026-02-20*

I loved every other animation arts game I played - all secret files, Preston Sterling and Sam Peters. But this one is just painful: slow dialogue, slow movements and the location of inventory items means that when I try to grab something from the corner I end up pulling my phone’s menu down. Played for a week then gave up.

### 4/5 — Crashes

*2025-10-11*

I was enjoying the game but keeps crashing when Tessa falls asleep.

### 3/5 — In progress

*2025-06-15*

Initially, the game was frozen at the title screen of my iPad Pro, and I deleted and reinstalled three times without success. I see the developers have fixed the bug so I’m updating my rating from 1 to 3 stars and will update again after I’ve played a while.

### 3/5 — Kein Ton iPad Pro 2022

*2025-02-28*

Leider kein Ton auf meinem IPad Pro 2022. Keine Musik, keine Effekte einfach nichts.
Rückerstattung ist beantrag, da so nicht nutzbar

### 5/5 — Great until the end

*2025-02-25*

This was a great game for a great price. Lots of game play and challenging tasks and puzzles. Great graphics. Thanks for the text walkthrough. Too much unnecessary dialogue but could click through. The final part of the game after Tessa enters the Monolith should have been cut by 80%. It just dragged on and on with the same message over and over. The rest of the game was so good that I only removed 1 star for the interminable ending.

### 5/5 — Amazing !!

*2024-12-30*

Bloody brilliant game , haven’t played something this good since broken sword , some things were very hard to solve and I like a challenge. So for me this was perfect ,honestly need a part 2 it’s a must !

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-12-23*

If you like Animation Arts games, you’ll love this. Great to see another game from the company. Anyone who is looking for a good point and click adventure should play this.

### 5/5 — Great story

*2024-12-14*

Yep, the controls are a little bit tight but I am playing on a 13mini with big thumbs. This is a tricksy game but the puzzles are really logical, the narrative is superb and the interplay and conversation between the two main ‘characters’ is sublime in places, hilarious in places, and genuinely heartwarming in the rest of the places. I might still be only half way through, I don’t know, but I’m pretty gripped.

### 4/5 — Tonprobleme

*2024-11-24*

### 5/5 — Dodgy walkthrough

*2024-11-15*

Medical station- the walkthrough says Turn sleep mode “on” - Turn random mode “on” - Reset, Turn sleep mode “off” - Turn random mode “off” - back - open door. Well that doesn’t work !!! Anyhow after experimenting I found the solution, the developer has written the walkthrough wrong. The solution is - Turn sleep mode “off” > Turn random mode “off” > Reset > Turn sleep mode “on” > Turn random mode “on” > back > Open door. Basically opposite to what the walkthrough says. Moving on the game is very nice and interesting story.

### 5/5 — Sooo schön

*2024-10-23*

Einfach empfehlenswert! Bitte mehr davon!!!

### 4/5 — Good game, technical issues

*2024-10-22*

Good adventure game, with nice story arc and challenging puzzles. However, minor annoying technical glitches get in the way. Aspect ratio on iPad sometime cuts off important parts of the scene, achievements seems to be broken, background sounds compete with foreground effects too much. Still with all the annoying minor glitches I enjoyed the play through.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-10-18*

I love a point and click game to play while watching TV in the background and this is one of the best ones I’ve played in a long time. The graphics are excellent, as is the story line, and the puzzles are challenging without being ridiculous. Would highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Monolith

*2024-10-02*

This would be the most beautifully made game I’ve ever played. I would love more of this. Hard enough and easy enough. Just stunning from beginning to end.

### 4/5 — Decent and Original!

*2024-09-29*

I haven’t given five stars as controls are finicky on a 6.1 inch screen and that is a bit of a design error as collision’s do not need to be that tiny on an iPhone game! You have to repeat what you are trying to do and that detracts from the gameplay and immersion in the game! Apart from that it’s a pretty good point and click sci fi adventure! Warning!! Very talky game, and dialogue is disappointingly drawn out, and often unnecessary. Especially, if you click on something accidentally (happens a lot), and have to hear it yet again! Still enjoyable enough and extra stars for originality of puzzles! 😊

### 1/5 — Cannot Complete

*2025-07-23*

In the swamp, my character has walked on thin air, of her own volition, up into the trees. She never returns to the game, and game. On trolls are no longer visible. This happened three times and I’m too tired of it to try for a fourth screw-up. Moving on to other games…

### 1/5 — Black screen

*2025-07-11*

Downloaded ok, but only get black screen after logo even though I have 14GB to play with. My updates are current.

Money back please!

### 1/5 — Spiel ? ..

*2025-01-06, version 1.1.11*

### 1/5 — No sound

*2024-09-25*

iPhone 15pro max, no sound. Support page 404. Great.

**Developer response:** Hello, we apologize for the missing page and will solve that problem. In the meantime, please send an email to support@animationarts.de ,so we can get in touch and solve that issue for you.

### 1/5 — Monolith

*2024-08-24*

### 1/5 — Miss

*2024-08-20*

The game only gets past the making company logo and crashes on me I do have the required update ipados

### 1/5 — Lohnt sich nicht

*2024-08-15*

### 2/5 — Fails on Day 4

*2025-12-13*

I cannot get the CORE to scan the ore samples in the mine and find Guffinium. So I cannot continue. I have a full size iPad version 6. I have used the hints to the letter. What am I missing?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Toll

*2026-05-28*

Eine tiefenpsychologische Story. Beginnt als Si-Fi-Point and Click-Adventure. Drauf einlassen und es wird Euch gefallen.

### 5/5 — Unbelievable

*2026-05-20*

I’ve been a huge PnC fan since the early 90s. Since iOS, I can’t remember if there has been a time where I wasn’t actively gaming or looking for a new one. I believe we may be very near a new Golden Age for adventure gaming. However, so far this has meant significant quantity of content but quality has been extremely hit and miss, especially in comparison to the 90s PnC era. That said, Monolith is one of the greatest adventure games I’ve played in decades. It can be difficult to make a game of this type hit so well without the campy elements so common to the genre, which I do appreciate but I found this extremely refreshing. Everything was there for an excellent game that truly felt like an adventure. And as a huge sci fi nerd I was absolutely impressed by the scientific creativity and respect for the player’s intelligence. I’ll be ready to pay big for a sequel or a similar style game from this company. And I can’t wait to see wheat they’ll do with improvements. Well done, creators. More please!

### 5/5 — Very enjoyable

*2026-03-15*

As has been noted in another review, very much in the genre of 'Beneath a Steel Sky' so if you liked that, this is one for you. I love this sort of game with puzzles and storyline, but ending was not entirely to my taste...but there you go. When I write my own game, the ending will be perfect!!

### 5/5 — I did use a walkthrough

*2025-12-01*

Really enjoyed this point-and-click adventure. The story is great, the art is gorgeous, and yes—I totally used a walkthrough—but honestly it made the whole thing feel like a chill little adventure.

### 5/5 — Amazing pic

*2025-07-14*

Been looking for a point and click game with better graphics, puzzles, and story.. 100% found it. Amazing job on this. We need more like this..

### 5/5 — Great until the end

*2025-07-13*

This was a great game for a great price. Lots of game play and challenging tasks and puzzles. Great graphics. Thanks for the text walkthrough. Too much unnecessary dialogue but could click through. The final part of the game after Tessa enters the Monolith should have been cut by 80%. It just dragged on and on with the same message over and over. The rest of the game was so good that I only removed 1/2 star for the interminable ending.

### 5/5 — Just superb - point and click fans won’t be disappointed

*2025-06-20*

Initially, the game was frozen at the title screen of my iPad Pro, and I deleted and reinstalled three times without success. The developers fixed the bug a couple days later, and I am so glad that I didn’t rage quit!

This game is so much more sophisticated and challenging than I thought it would be. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is engaging, and frankly, this is a really low price for a game of this caliber. Strongly recommend for all point and click adventure fans.

### 5/5 — Quality point and click, worth the price

*2025-06-09*

The graphics are really nice, including characters. P&C games usually slack on character models, even when the pre-rendered world is well done, but not this one. The puzzles were intuitive and often easy, but that is better than some games where solutions make so little sense that you only find them by brute force operation(using every item on every object). overall they were challenging enough. The story is key to a good point and click, and this one has a solid story line, although a bit sad. The ending (no spoilers) has little to do in the way of solving puzzles, and was more of a walkthrough cinematic, but that was fine because the rest of the game up to that point was non-stop problem solving.

My only complaint about this game is that it would occasionally crash during a cutscene, and I’d have to restart it. Fortunately, I never lost any progress, I just had to watch some cutscenes twice.

### 5/5 — Großartige Geschichte

*2025-03-08*

Alles super.

### 5/5 — Tolles point and click…

*2025-03-04*

…und jeden Cent wert!!
