I signed in and it stilled zeroed me out. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. ### 4/5 — Best sudoku app but has a few small issues *2023-09-14* This is one of the best sudoku apps I have ever used mainly because of the speed by which u can place numbers into the boxes. It took me a bit to figure out the difference but once I got it my speed completing a puzzle increased a lot. There is a bit of a lag when it loads and I think it’s mainly because it has a lot a lot of unnecessary animations but the lag is minor if u have a decent phone. I hate that when the tournament “season” is over that I have to click each property to see where I ended up in the ranks and then click 2-3 more times. This is entirely unnecessary when I personally don’t care about the ranks because I play just because I enjoy the puzzles. But my biggest complaint is that I paid actual money for this app (twice actually cuz I had it on my Samsung phone and then again when I switched to iPhone.) but just starting today, I am getting ads after I complete a puzzle. Why? If I paid for it, then there should be no ads. There never were before so they shouldn’t get greedy and put ads on there. I will delete this if the ads continue and I would rate this 1 star if it came to that. **Developer response:** Hello again! Sorry for any hassle this may have caused! ### 3/5 — It’s good but *2023-09-03* It’s a good game but at the end of the week when it figures out the leaderboard it takes all day to compile. So for 8 hours on Sunday it’s unplayable. That’s annoying ### 3/5 — It’s ok *2023-07-22* Mostly because of the auto fill feature the game is more about who can tap faster rather than logical thinking. The more challenging puzzles do require skill, but the auto fill still simplifies even those. I wish you would remove the auto feature or have a separate puzzle set that doesn’t allow auto fill instead of the couple that have it turned off. My second issue is the second chance feature. I play on an iphone12 I have large thumbs so there are times when the wrong square is selected. This isn’t really a software issue but it is annoying to lose just because my fat thumbs hit the wrong square. Finally, I really hate that I have to tap back to the main screen every time. Just stop loading all the other rank screens and leave me on the main page so I can just go from one puzzle to the next. I really can’t stand that. ### 3/5 — Need update *2022-12-31, version 0.1.41 - ATT update* Good game but really need some updates ### 4/5 — Great Sudoku Play; Major Stability Issues *2022-11-29, version 0.1.41 - ATT update* This is one of the best versions of Sudoku, really enjoy the puzzle dynamics, the ability to select either the number or the boxes. I even got used to began to enjoy the competition aspect. The only aspect I am not fond of is the inability to play for up to 12 hours at the end of the weekly season. However, I have been experiencing tons of issues with stability recently … the puzzles aren’t resetting timely when full/complete. They will stay frozen for hours. I haven’t been able to begin the new ‘season’ this week as the “Calculating Results” for each puzzle is frozen, and the new season timer is not counting down but sporadically making up times. I have attempted restarting my phone, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times. This game WAS my daily evening wind down. But it seems I will need to find something else since I can no longer rely on this one being playable. This game was 4 stars when working properly. It would be 5 stars if the end of season freeze was not an aspect. Sadly, due to the stability issues, it has dropped to 3 stars or less … **Developer response:** Hi and thank you for your feedback. Also there should be a way to auto collect a round instead of having to go into each individual one over and over. Thank you! ### 2/5 — Fun but needs updating *2021-10-07, version 0.1.41 - ATT update* Update: app doesn’t work at all on iOS 15 so I can’t play! I think this game is a nice way to make sudoku more fun, however I cannot play this for too long without getting migraines. It’s a little better from my phone rather than the large iPad screen, and I know some things can’t be helped, but some graphics move too fast. Can the developers please at least slow down the daily monopoly board? I can’t even look at that page when I use my daily dice and just have to wait for it to be over without looking so I can collect my prizes without feeling dizzy. For the Seasons, it would be nice if either 1) it doesn’t go offline for an entire day when calculating results or 2) it didn’t go offline on Sundays. I have quite the busy work week so weekends are my two days to relax and play games to destress from work and I can’t even play much of this on Sundays while Seasons are offline. You can only do up to 10 matches against someone and those people never respond to nudges so I’m stuck waiting until the next weekend to play for one day. There are also constant internet connection issues. It often goes offline and I have to force restart the app over and over. **Developer response:** Update: Hi Krissy. But I can’t understand for the life of me how it is scoring!! Which makes it harder to beat others. However, is there any way to turn off the Auto Notes? I’m a very advanced solver and I don’t need them. I always like to start with a clean puzzle, figure out what I can, then l make my own useful notes. I would love the option in the settings to turn off Auto Notes. Thank you! ### 3/5 — Overall Okay *2021-04-08, version 0.1.38 - New Avatars and Tokens* I love sudoku puzzles, and I love monopoly. So this is perfect to me in the sense of fun; however, it is still buggy. If I leave the app open and lock my screen, the internet icon doesn’t automatically update. I have to physically close the app and reopen it, which isn’t terrible it just becomes a hassle. Maybe incorporate a refresh button? And if there is already a refresh button, then I am just blind. I’ve changed my name but it still displays the default name when I go against players. I don’t know if I have to sign in via apple or Facebook in order for the change to stay or what. I was reading the settings, and the descriptions for ‘digit first’ & ‘cell first’ need to be swapped. For the iPad Air, the sound settings names are behind the slider bar, i.e. ‘music’ is displayed behind the top slider bar. I love the overall design of the game. Fast paced when going around the board. I love the extreme mode as well, as it is more challenging which is perfect! The games against another person sometimes work sometimes don't. It would be nice to have a game against someone who is active in the game. There's no further cost and no further hassle!”, but now every time I finish a game an ad pops up. However, the addition of ads in the latest version have killed my enjoyment playing sudoku here. If the developers wanted to switch to a freemium model they should allow users who’ve paid to continue ad-free and only have ads for users who prefer not to pay. In addition, there isn’t even an option to disable ads, not even with a purchase. Very irritating ### 1/5 — Stuck in a bug loop *2021-02-03, version 0.1.27 - SDK updates + bug fixing* There are other better sudoku games out there (for free!) but my biggest issue is I am stuck in a terrible bug loop in the practice games area, where the graphics are messed up and I see no grid, cannot quit the bugged game, deleting and uninstalling game didn’t fix. You click on a location to play a game and everything but the first two disappear when you return to the selection (home) page. This has not been fixed for over a week now. Initial review: The initial release was a barebones basic with no options and no puzzle diversity. Now while the puzzles have an interesting adaptation to your level of play, and you’re getting dice, the bugs are getting worse. There isn’t any way to stop that ridiculously long opening video, there are no options for dark mode (as someone who plays before bed, that’s a hard pass) and all the other options you expect from a game release these days they just aren’t there... Besides that, the gameplay WOULD be perfect if they hadn’t released a half a**ed game.
