Today I went to use it and everything I had setup previously (zones, sources) are no longer defined. I’ve reconfigured each zone but the app CRASHES every time I try to redefine a source. Unfortunately it only works correctly about 20% of the time. The app will disconnect and will not reconnect on its own. Since this app is quite simplistic there is no way to reset or reconnect or configured in more depth. “Unable to connect to server, check settings “. There is nothing to check in settings and the link to app support doesn’t work so I don’t know if this will ever get fixed. The app would be perfect if it didn’t drop connection so frequently with no way for the user to fix immediately. ### 3/5 — Worked great until recent update. *2022-12-12* The most recent update has left me unable to connect to server. Please release a new update or roll back to the previous. App has worked great for the last 2 years and would love to have it working again. **Developer response:** Make sure your port is set under settings, most likely 4999. ### 4/5 — App Version 1.8 Broke control *2022-12-06* Update 12/6: the developer reached out via email and assisted in troubleshooting, got everything back online up and running. Overall app works very well for what I need it for. App has always been pretty spotty as far as connecting, but it worked often enough to turn zones on/off/control volume when needed. Since the update to 1.8, I haven’t been able to connect at all, error unable to connect to server. Rebooted everything multiple times, tried changing ip’s, double checked all ports, deleted and redownloaded the app, and nothing! Can’t find a way to reach any tech support, please roll back the app or release a new version that fixes this asap! Need some music in my life. ### 1/5 — Incompatible with new iOS 15 *2022-08-23, version 1.7* I just installed my system in a new construction and omitted the keypads for aesthetics. Big mistake at this point. The app just doesn’t work. I am hoping it is due to new iOS and the developer will release an update. Otherwise, between my wife and I, we just made a $20 donation. I would say the app is at a 30-40% functioning rate about 30% of the time. ### 1/5 — Can’t get it working *2022-07-10, version 1.7* I’m having a similar experience to another user. Installed, configured, but can’t connect. No trouble shooting information, settings, or support seem to be available. I am able to successfully connect and control the monoprice amplifier with a free alternative… it’s a shame because I was happy to pay for what I had read was a well developed app. I now wonder if the app I read about is gone and this came in its place (the name isn’t quite the same). I’m happy to work with the dev if they reach out. I tried to click the “support” link on the App Store and got a “failed: too many redirects” error in safari! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Robert *2026-03-09* I’ve had the system installed Proxim five years ago. From the beginning the system has never worked properly. He has an HP computer and I have an Apple devices that he’s trying to run the system off and. Do you have updates to the system that will allow to work with Apple devices? Do you also have technicians that work in the Orlando area that I may contact to work on the system?i I paid a lot of money for the system and I feel like I have been cheated. It doesn’t allow volume control in one. Also can not turn off a single zone. Must push all zones to get it turn off. ### 1/5 — Does not work with monoprice receiver/adapter *2023-01-16, version 1.8* I downloaded this app a month or so ago, and the old version worked intermittently to control my monoprice multizone receiver (10761) via a monoprice RS232 adapter (39263), but the new version (1.8) doesn’t seem to work at all. All of the zones appear “off” in the app (even through they are on) and the controls do not work. That snag was likely network related. But I got amazing support and suggestions. Try getting that from the large companies! Family uses it almost daily. I’ve used it with an intact Flex and then when that died the Monoprice adapter which is listed in the app description(though the Monoprice adapter itself was a chore to setup, but not because of this app). Highly recommend if you have the Monoprice audio amp. I have two amps setup for a total of 12 zones and this app controls both very well. **Developer response:** Have you set your port under settings? Works great for me. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-05-27* Loving controlling my monoprice 6-zone amp via my phone. Setup was straightforward. Interface is clean and intuitive. A few suggestions to make it better. These would improve the app to me - it’s already a great app - just buy it! 1) when using groups allow changing of the source for all zones in the group window; 2) ability to have a master volume control for groups (so if using speakers for some zones and amps for other zones the levels can remain relative vs adjusting separately); 3) ability to change the order of the zones/groups on the display; 4) change all zones to the same source vs separately; 5) browser interface (or Mac/windows app) to control the amp in the same manner as the app. Love my setup and streaming music throughout the house controlling exclusively with this app. ### 5/5 — Love this app *2021-01-28, version 1.6* This app is super simple and intuitive. It makes the Monoprice 6-zone amp much more functional. One suggestion - it would be perfect if the group function included a source selection so you don’t have to change each zone independently.
