Yuzuki, a student studying 'Monsters,' gets lost in the forest for a school project.
Overcome with hunger, she eats an apple she finds.
However, that apple was intended for a 'Monster' she encounters in the forest—a dragon hatchling named 'Piko'....

"Gyao! Gya, gya. Gyu, gyao!"
"...Come again?"

And then, after eating the apple, a change began to manifest in Yuzuki...
"Huh?! H-Horns?!
Wha... What the heck?!
Why do I have horns?!
What's happening to me?!"

メルクストーリアが好きで、スピンオフ作品のメルモンも遊んでいました。 この作品も「まもの」と呼ばれるモンスターとの絆がストーリーの主軸になっています。 描写の一つひとつが丁寧で、本当に思いやりのある方がライティングされているのだなと感じました。 ヒツジが疎外されながらも決して仲間を傷つけなかったり、フウちゃんがにんげんにいじわるをしつつも自分の名前を忘れていなかったりと、キャラクターのやさしさがお話を通してよく伝わってきます。 ペットを飼っている方は、こういった生き物の純粋さが琴線に触れるかもしれません。 ストーリーはわかりやすく、ありきたりとも取れますが、雰囲気がやわらかく癒される心地でプレイできます。 ゲームの質感が心地よく没入感があり、陳腐には感じません。 主人公のユズキもイマドキな女子高生の雰囲気ながら、素直でまっすぐな性格で応援したくなります。 各種スチルも素晴らしく、ギャラリーモードがないのが惜しいです。 スキップ機能がない、BGMがやや単調など改善点もありますが、メルクストーリアが好きな方には自信を持ってオススメできます。
