At first glance monsta bounce might seem like something you've seen before. Give it 2 minutes. It will prove you wrong. I absolutely love the simple designs and gameplay. The physics and animation feels so natural and really makes you feel like you're controlling the characters. I'm usually not a competitive guy but seeing the names of my friends passing on the screen, really got me hooked, and we keep comparing results. Monsta bounce is super fun and really addictive in the best possible way. It combines superbly crafted gameplay with delightfully fun design. The touch controls are perfectly tuned, resulting in a very responsive and intuitive feel to the game, and also putting the focus really on skill and technique. Every game you play is different because the terrain pieces are randomized each time, constantly keeping you on your toes. It is really motivating to try to beat your friends' scores, and even more exciting to see your high score line appear as you near your best run yet! No ads, no in-game harassment; just hours and hours of fun, a few minutes at a time. Its beautifully "torn" cardboard-like graphics are a nod to the games simplicity as a runner-style game. The goal of acquiring coins conjures a MarioBros-like nostalgia, which cleverly blends with the on-screen markers that highlight the status of your friends' progress via social media accounts. Get downloading! *2015-04-10, version 0* Monsta Bounce is a beautiful, refreshing and honest platformer that today's App Store needs. There's no ads flying in your face. No pay-to-win gimmicks. No "invite your friends to get more daily stamina" baloney. Pair all that with Goro's adorable art (his work is what "drew" me here in the first place) and the fast-paced play and ultra responsive touch controls and you have yourself a must-play game that definitely warrants a download. The cherry on top: this game doesn't force you to invite your friends but you'll want to anyway. The greatness of this game is an underlying competitive atmosphere that'll leave you wanting to pay your friend a visit and enact physical harm on them. Nothing beats soaring past your friend's high scores only to find out three other friends just wiped the floor with you an hour later. This is game is definitely something you should check out. It's hard enough to find an game that doesn't shoot ads in your face or make you pay to continue after you die. I look forward to Goro's next app and it's only through supporting artists and producers like this can we hope to find more great games and products on the App Store. ### 5/5 — Cardboard fun! *2015-04-10, version 0* This game is addictive, and has an amazing and unique esthetic... Wow. Thank you developers for such a fun way to spend time. I love that each time you play there is variation of obstacles and monsters. The monsters are fun even though they can injure and stop me. You can get a helicopter to fly fir a brief amount of time or become a rock to smash into the monsters with!! Simple game and controls but not exactly easy to conquer. Yet it is irresistible. My only suggestion would be to offer more characters and rings.
