Software on the other hand is iffy. I have 2 different lights on my app and 1 always seems to be “offline”. I can’t ever get the schedules to work because of it and 1 section is a different color than what I have set. The primary purpose of a lighting app should be to allow users to customize their lighting preferences right from the start. The different lighting fixture options should be presented in a separate menu, eliminating the need for excessive over-engineering. While automation and a profile sliding menu are commendable features, the requirement for users to first select their lighting fixture first is unnecessary. But the app is bad. It is never connected and I can never turn the lights on or off. If I spend money on a product I expect to be able to actually use it. And that doesn’t always work either. Hope this issue gets fixed with the next update other than that the app has come a long way 👌🏽❤️ ### 5/5 — Monster Lights *2026-01-15, version 2.0.145* Okay okay so back then I used battery powered lights from dollar general quick note the were not good only had a few setting and made my batteries spew acid but when I used my b-day money to buy these and I used them I had SOO many more features. I absolutely love the mode where it listens to music and chooses what it fits and I have a big sister and she does not like blinking lights makes her eyes hurt and now that I can turn them down it is so much better for me! Totally recommend especially if you’re looking for a good cheap alternative. ### 5/5 — Good Lights *2026-01-12, version 2.0.145* The lights themselves are great I got them for my girlfriend for Christmas, the only thing I would change up is the app that is connected to them there’s few color options and the DIY section is finicky every time I’ve tried to customize it after I have saved it the whole option for exapmle color wipe is no longer there for me and it was my favorite all around worth it I’m just hoping this review will help the cause to get an update for the app in the right direction.
