Please Montblanc, update it! Update 2024: Finally Montblanc has updated the app and fixed some bugs. Hopefully this will continue into the future! ### 3/5 — Like the Montblanc part, but not the app *2024-04-27, version 4.4.1* The app crashes on iPhone each time after loaded for 20 seconds. After multiple call to customer service and emails. I finally figured out the problem: the Inkspace Cloud made too many copies of the same note, and it went into an endless loop whenever it synced. Then crashed. If uninstall and do NOT connect to the inkspace, it doesn’t crash. Es fehlen verschiedene Verzeichnisebenen, die es ermöglichen, Notizen gut zu strukturieren. So bleibt diese sehr gute Idee leider nur ein überteuertes Spielzeug. Es ist aus meiner Sich unverständlich, wieso man sich weigert, die App mit der Möglichkeit mehrerer Verzeichnisebene auszustattet. Sämtliche augmented Paper Geräte, die wir für unser Unternehmen angeschafft haben, bleiben daher in der Schublade. Jedem, der mehr als nur Einkaufslisten schreiben möche, rate ich dringend von einer Anschaffung ab - bis das o.g. Datenschutz ist offenbar ein Fremdwort. Datensicherheit erst recht: ein Update auf eine neue Version erfolgte ohne Rückfrage automatisch, die gespeicherten Seiten bleiben auch nach stundenlangem Suchen unauffindbar, eine weitere App wird empfohlen zum Zugriff auf eine Cloud (welche? wo?). Undurchsichtig, unzuverlässig, umständlich. Ich kann nur jedem abraten. Es gibt am Markt ausgezeichnete Hard- und Softwarelösungen die funktionieren und solche dilettantischen Versuche von Montblanc überflüssig machen. ### 1/5 — TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY *2020-03-20, version 3.5.0* I knew the money was wasted when I was purchasing the augmented paper. This app made it worst!!!! Syncing me back in 2015!! A simple thing this company couldn’t fix when charging arms and legs for their product. Stay in stone ages Montblanc. Hasta el estándar de Microsoft tiene esto solucionado desde hace tiempo. ### 1/5 — Very bad app for a very costly device *2020-01-24, version 3.4.1.3* The app is absolutely basic in its features , plus: - it does not have a real help, nor has Montblanc website - it does not explain many aspects (what is the meaning of orange and blue lights blinking contemporarily, for example?) - it does not have a troubleshooting section. Quite annoying for a device costing €. 700+ isn’t it? My device is now stuck with orange and blue leds blinking and does not pair, does not record my notes and I do not know what to do and did not find any help whatsoever in the website. Ridiculous ... I do recommend NOT TO BUY MONTBLANC AUGMENTED PAPER before they fix it. As the situation stands now it would be totally wasted money. I must add that the Montblanc support eventually replied that the device was faulty and had to be substituted So they asked me to bring it to a dealer. I did that and after a month they sent it back to the dealer, unrepaired, as my guarantee was few months due! The device was faulty from factory and they did not substitute it after having asked me to do so!!! RIDICULOUS APP, SUPER EXPENSIVE NOT-WORKING DEVICE AND SHAMEFUL SUPPORT AND POST SALE SERVICE!!!!!!! The cloud synchronization is a mess. Each page is copied several times. The usable space on the paper is cropped on the application. To say that Montblanc produced this application and the product is at this price, it is a shame, almost a scheme. ### 1/5 — Synchro plus possible. *2025-04-12, version 4.5.1* À ce prix là!!! El calco es muy bueno. No hay imperfecciones de otras marcas que no sean del bolígrafo. Soy arquitecto y lo he probado incluso con esbozos y dibujos.
