I don’t normally buy games unless I think they are exceptionally good. Having enjoyed the free Monument Valley I and II, I was certain I would love this one. It has been every bit worth the modest price. The graphics are beautifully rendered, the puzzles require logical thinking, and sit sweetly between challenging and easy, however, much easier if you have played games one and two as you begin to understand the patterns. The theme music is pleasing in that it is neither obnoxious nor excessively repetitive. Similar to background music in a Japanese restaurant that you can’t quite remember having heard, but recall the feeling of a pleasant ambience. The characters in Monument Valley III are cute, charming, and more engaging than in games I and II, along with a few more little tools and surprises. If you enjoy beautiful graphics, sitting down to a calming game to focus and relieve stress, and find yourself smiling at the charm and creative effects, I would encourage you to give this a try.
