Loved the sounds but not the narration. Very dry. Will definitely stick to reading it myself but keep the sounds. It is pretty wonderful to see the animals move and make noises. ### 2/5 — No sound. *2021-05-17* Same issue as others. The sound no longer works on these and I spent $6.99 on them. The classical style music and monotone reading took all of the fun out of it. This makes no sense for such an app and this is for the developpers to fix. Hence the bad rating. Downloaded Hippo book and it worked great. Google it or if in iPad, open a control tray from top right corner and tap a “bell button” to unmute. App's low reviews are because of the sound lost due to device settings, which is a shame! It’s a wonderful fun app to play with. We have several Sandra Boyton’s book that my 3-year-old daughter loves, so I downloaded all 4 book for the plane. Never have issues except 1-2 times if my phone had been on vibrate when I went into app there wouldn’t be sound. Turn vibrate off, exit app and go back and it’s perfect. My children love these. 2 and 3 and both with autism. When my son, 2, is having meltdowns sometimes the sound of this book is all that’ll bring him out of it.
