Good when it works
Great when it works but I’m getting frustrated by it not being able to generate an image at all some days and taking so many tries to do something simple that it’s probably using enough drinking water for a family for a week.

Haven’t used a lot of ai and it’s great to bring an idea to life but there are some things that take so many tries I feel guilty using a days worth of human drinking water to move a chair to the right place.

DIY saver for the last few year
I’ve used this through several updates as we’ve remodeled everything. It’s the best way I found to put my inspiration pieces together, screen shots of what I plan to buy and photos of what I have in order to find a cohesive look. As a mood board it was very helpful to see my kitchen lights, stools, cabinets, accessories etc all in one place before buying things and then putting those boards next to the ones for other rooms. Now with the AI update I’m figuring the best way for my bathroom and imo putting cropped photos next to each other is way easier than trying to describe in words how I want it to look. It’s worth paying the monthly for 200 AI credits a month when you’re in the thick of planning. I downloaded other apps in the last couple days but AI kept making weird changes in addition to what I asked and wasted my credits. Not with this one. If I have a picture of a vanity next to a toilet and then a shower it keeps that layout it doesn’t rearrange everything. Way easier too for anyone who doesn’t want to describe every tiny detail.

Could be better
The crop and remove background won’t work consistently. The app also closes out on you every time you leave to look at something else. I wouldn’t mind if I wasn’t paying for these features but I am. I also hate the new AI aspect that you can’t remove. It takes up half the page you are working on and is distracting.

Thank you for your review! The crop issue is resolved now. You can download the updated app - v2.2.1. You can hide the AI aspect: click on the ... menu on the top-right corner -> Display Option -> Mood Board. Could you send us an email about the crashes you experience? (info@homeboard.app) It'd be helpful to resolve this issue as well.
Scam free 7 days trial
Just downloaded the app, and was getting ready to use it. But it charged $10.59 after I inputted my information into even though the system shown FREE 7 days trial. What a scam !
