## What is Mood Space?

** WHAT IS MOOD-SPACE **
Mood Space is a mood tracker and a diary that helps capture your mood and emotional moments throughout the day and visualize them in a way that helps you get to know yourself better than ever.

** WHAT MAKES MOOD-SPACE UNIQUE **
Mood Space has a unique way of doing things in just 3 steps. When you add an entry, it asks the following three questions:
• What is your mood?
• What is your emotional state?
• What is it related to?

For example, you are feeling great and excited about your work for some reason. You can log this in the following way:
• Mood: Great
• Emotion: Excited
• Connection/relates to: Work
• Reason: your specific reason in a nutshell

This way, Mood Space captures and organizes data to give you a better understanding of yourself in the following ways:
• Mood and emotion frequency: How often moods and emotions show up
• In Progress: How you are emotionally progressing on a weekly basis (this also includes a Mood Score–based comparison)
• Visualize your emotional progress with 3 different metrics (EOD - end of the day basis, Median basis, and Mood Score basis)

From this, You can gain deeper insights into your mood and emotions. For example, during difficult moments like anxiety, stress, or tough days, you can understand what triggered those feelings. On the other hand, you can also discover what made your happiest days and the factors behind them.

As you continue logging entries, this mood tracker builds meaningful data over time, helping you improve self-awareness, understand emotional patterns, and support your mental well-being.

This app is so dynamic that, depending on how you use it, it can become a happiness tracker, emotion tracker, anxiety tracker, stress tracker, emotion trigger tracker, or even a simple emotional diary.

** WHAT IS MOOD SCORE* *
Your Day's Emotional Story in One Number: Mood Score represents your average mood and emotional state throughout the day. It’s calculated by adding up the values of all your mood entries and dividing by the number of check-ins you made that day.
Each mood has a simple weight: Awful (1), Sad (2), Neutral (3), Happy (4), Great (5)

** BONUS **

### 5/5 — Simply Awesome!

*2026-01-20*

I really like the flow of this app. You start by selecting a mood, then the related emotion, and finally the reason. What’s especially great is that you don’t need to write a single word unless you want to add a specific note. It feels like a clear chain that shows how you actually ended up there. Honestly, this has helped me understand myself better and even realize a bad habit I didn’t know I was unintentionally repeating. Such an ingenious idea, and big thanks to the developer this app genuinely helped me.

### 5/5 — Clean design, solid insights

*2026-01-02*

Clean design and great visuals. I like how it quantifies moods without making it feel clinical. The watch app is super convenient, but sometimes syncing feels a tiny bit slow when I’m outside, but it’s kind of an instant flash within indoors. Pls introduce colors for each mood, I’m going pro on this.

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the great review & feedback
We’ve already made some improvements about syncing performance in our recent updates, and you should notice it feeling faster than before, especially when moving between environments / Data Connections.
Minor tip: if you ever run into a syncing issue, simply close both the Watch app and the iOS app from the background and open them again.
There are some exciting milestones and updates coming soon. Please keep the app up to date and thanks for supporting an indie dev as well ❤️

### 5/5 — Helped me notice patterns I was ignoring

*2025-12-31*

I didn’t expect this app to be as eye opening as it was. Seeing my weekly mood trends and most frequent emotions made me more mindful of my habits. Logging from the watch makes it feel natural instead of like a chore.

### 5/5 — Great for quick check-ins

*2025-12-30*

Love the concept and Apple Watch integration. I use it pretty much all day. On mood swing days, I end up logging a ton, which is actually kind of impressive. I do wish there were more customization options for emotions, but it’s still very useful with emotion frequency.

### 4/5 — Clean UI and meaningful charts

*2025-12-30*

The charts are actually useful, not just visuals. I like switching between median and end-of-day views, and the Emotion Frequency is especially helpful. The Mood Score is a solid metric and I like how it’s calculated, but it only shows up if you’ve logged yesterday and today and is tucked behind a small score-difference icon. Making that more visible would be great. I don’t really use the Watch app, but the iPhone experience is solid overall.

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the great review and feedback.
Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the app. Yes, the Mood Score did have lower visibility in earlier versions. Please check out our latest version, the Mood Score has now been added to Weekly Insights and is also available as a new metric in the monthly progress chart.
Tip 🤫: Tap on the emotion icon in Weekly Stats to view each day’s Mood Score.

We’re working on more updates to offer an even better experience, whether you’re using the app standalone or together with the Watch. Please stay tuned and keep the app up to date 🙌. Thanks!
