## Newest reviews (18 of 61)

### 1/5 — They don’t support us

*2020-06-23, version 3.1*

If you’re using a apple device just give up only work for android

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2020-06-18, version 3.1*

We use this in our coffee shop for the music and sometimes we go entire days without being able to open it. We all despise this app.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2020-05-11, version 3.1*

Never works properly, connecting to your device is a constant problem. Setup instructions are beyond stupid. It’s a good thing pandora is so cheap otherwise they would have no business

### 1/5 — Android v Apple

*2020-03-06, version 3.1*

We use this where I work and anyone who uses this on an Apple phone has issues connecting. Says device not found. Anyone who is using the app on Android has absolutely no issues. This needs to be fixed.

### 1/5 — Requires a dumb network

*2020-02-12, version 3.1*

App assumes that your network is flat. I had to enable multicast across two networks so that this app would function. It’s not practical for any kind of professional/enterprise network.

### 1/5 — Developers are criminals

*2020-02-07, version 3.1*

To rob people of the money it costs to get one of these only to have it not work (just like a ton of other reviews here) should be punishable by law. Mine won’t connect and I’ve had three separate IT guys out.

### 1/5 — Do not sign a contract for this service

*2020-01-29, version 3.1*

You’ll be locked in for two years and have a useless App to attempt to control your music. On a good day it’s slow to open. It crashes constantly or you have to close and restart it every time you need to adjust volume or change stations. If they would fix this app the service would be just OK.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-01-27, version 3.1*

Easily the most frustrating app I’ve ever used. Use something else to play music in your business.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2019-12-31, version 3.1*

The app wont connect, like ever.

### 1/5 — Absolute crap app

*2019-12-15, version 3.1*

As everyone else says the app will not connect to the player regularly. We like the player and the music. But the app is the worst program I’ve ever seen. FIX IT!

### 1/5 — Essentially Useless

*2019-10-31, version 3.1*

This app just takes up space. In our 3 years off using it, i have only gotten it to connect 5 times. We have no other way to really log on and see what is playing so you are switching channels around blindly. If we are going to pay for a service we should be able to use it to it’s full extent.

### 1/5 — No manual settings

*2019-08-08, version 3.1*

To use this app it requires the FusionIO device to be on the same network as wireless users, which is a security issue. The app does not allow you to manually enter an IP address making this app useless in on a secured network. The FusionIO web interface on mobile works pretty well though.

### 1/5 — Please fix this.

*2019-08-01, version 3.1*

Pandora, please please please fix this app. I really love your private app, but why can’t the commercial version be as simple to use?

### 1/5 — How do I rate this zero?

*2019-07-31, version 3.1*

Barely ever works. Trash.

### 1/5 — Joke

*2019-06-28, version 3.1*

I’ve wasted hours over the past few days to get these stupid profusion boxes to work. Insane. The app is ridiculous. Never completes. Now I’m stuck with 2 $99 boxes that we can’t use. And customer service is a joke.

### 1/5 — Crap

*2019-05-03, version 3.1*

Barely works on phone or iPads. Support even tells you its bad but no solution or updates. FIX YOUR APP. No other option so we are stuck.

### 1/5 — Absolute garbage

*2019-05-02, version 3.1*

Does not work

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time or money

*2019-03-24, version 3.1*

After countless hours on the phone with tech support, neither my sound system tech not myself could get the app working. I wrote into customer service for help and they responded they have techs for $135 / hr. Since I already spent a total of ten hours on the phone you can imagine what that bill would be. How about you create a product that works? I have a business and we bought this, pandora for business, controller because we need the music working! I bought 3 of them to play different music in all 3 outlets. There are no other options to use Pandora legally.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible integration

*2025-10-13, version 3.1*

I constantly get booted from the app. It won’t store log in information, making logging in difficult.

Having a skip button would be amazing. Being able to add or delete tracks would also be an a great addition.

If it were my money, i would not use this service.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-09-23, version 3.1*

Who ever made this app should change careers

### 1/5 — Horrible UI

*2025-02-28, version 3.1*

This is horrible UI. The volume, etc from the bottom finicky to “pull up”. Very slow to respond. We have 500+ mbps service. So it’s not an our internet.

### 1/5 — If only there was a 0 star option!

*2024-06-29, version 3.1*

This app is awful! I will be canceling Pandora service as soon as my contract is up! App will not let me log on. Can’t change music, and now it is playing random genres of music! No one wants to listen to slow Christmas in June! This is ridiculous!

### 1/5 — Don’t use this app

*2023-12-24, version 3.1*

It fails all the time. The box (hardware component) fails all the time. The app constantly logs you out or won’t work. It is the cheapest music provider for businesses for a reason. Treat yourself to the PFB digital version or just get a different business music provider if you can afford it.

### 1/5 — If you are a business do ANYTHING else

*2023-08-21, version 3.1*

Easily the worst music app out there. It is impossible to connect to and there is 0 customer service support. Essentially all they will tell you is to turn it off and on again which does nothing.

### 1/5 — Absolutely awful

*2023-03-03, version 3.1*

It should not take an hour to change the station…. Fix this god awful app

### 1/5 — App crashes/Won’t load

*2022-12-02, version 3.1*

This app is garbage. After you load it one time, trying to load it any time after that it crashes. Fix this! It’s been almost a full year of this issue. What’s the deal?

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2022-06-17, version 3.1*

terrible!

### 1/5 — constantly crashes

*2020-10-08, version 3.1*

We use this in our coffee shop, much to my displeasure, and I’m constantly having to hard-close the app and re-open it to do simple things like adjust the volume or thumbs up/down a song. It’s ridiculous. Needs to be updated ASAP

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy, Simple, Straight Forward.

*2019-10-06, version 3.1*

Works as it should, no issues. Can control the playlist, genre, volume on the fly. Great flexibility to change the the mood in any office, retail, restaurant on the spot simply and easily.

### 5/5 — not working on older boxes

*2016-06-07, version 1.4*

hoping this will be fixed soon. Any time table on when this app will be compatible with an older version of the Pandora boxes?

### 4/5 — Lots of improvements

*2021-11-15, version 3.1*

App works perfectly in our restaurant

### 4/5 — It's OK, but could be better

*2017-06-07, version 2.8*

It works, but the UI is not the most intuitive. The only serious complaint is that the app will automatically quit after a pre-set interval (but the music doesn't stop). This requires that a user re-open the app, search for a Pandora player yet again and, once found, log in yet again. That process take as long as 30 seconds or more. We use this in a restaurant and it is not uncommon that music must be paused or a particular track skipped on very short notice. But if the app has shut down due to the expiration of the timer - the maximum interval is 1440 minutes (24 hours) - the re-start and re-login process makes it impossible to do quickly. It is unfathomable to me why there is a timer at all but, if it serves some need for some users, there should be a "never" setting for those who don't want the thing to ever shut down on its own.

### 3/5 — It’s decent

*2019-01-08, version 3.1*

For all of those having trouble connecting, I found that I can have constant success just by swiping out of the app and re-entering each time, otherwise it’s problematic. Nice to have when you’re on the move, just depend more heavily on the desktop format and you’re fine.

### 3/5 — It works

*2017-02-24, version 2.4*

It is functional and does what it's suppose to. They definitely need to setup an auto login to a selected device so you don't have to always log back in and select a unit. They could also speed it up a bit, it's a little slow.

### 3/5 — Logs out every time

*2017-01-23, version 2.4*

It's a decent app. It just logs you out of the controller every time you lock your phone, so you have to go through the whole login process again instead of a quick access without getting logged out. Needs to be fixed. Super annoying.

### 2/5 — Not very useful for a business

*2018-12-22, version 3.1*

The only way I could get this app to work with the Mood Media Player was to hardwire the player to my router. Even with the player less than 10 feet away from router it would take forever to connect, it would stop playing mid-song or not play at all when it was wireless. I do like the convenience of paying one fee to cover all music licenses though. Wish they updated the app more often. Seems dated.

### 2/5 — Why does this exist

*2018-04-11, version 3.1*

Just let me connect and control from the pandora app. This app is a limited interface and I have to go to my Pandora app to accomplish some of the functions. Just add player connectivity to the original app and call it a day.

### 2/5 — Only connects 1/2 the time

*2017-08-31, version 2.9*

This app is very frustrating. It doesn't remember your device or your login, so you have to go through a multi-step process every time to find the device and type in the login. And unfortunately it only gets as far as the login screen about 1/2 the time. As a small business owner I don't have time to fuss with this. I've resorted to using my computer to make music changes, which is also not convenient
