### 3/5 — Anxiety

*2025-03-24, version 3.1.1*

All the reminders sent after a couple of weeks made me more anxious

### 2/5 — Awful connection

*2025-02-17, version 3.1*

Everyday I go to fill it out, it only tells me I’m on day 4 or so. I’m updating it daily but it says it is having connection issues. I am trying to complete a challenge for work which I have completed 3 times now but still haven’t received the completion certificate. If I didn’t have to do it for work I would not use this app.

### 4/5 — I really like it but it has glitches

*2025-01-15, version 3.0*

I like the app, breathing technique, good advices CBT, really good info
But the only bad thing about it is glitches today is my 10th day
The app said in the morning 10th day and then wrote it 9th day in a row

### 5/5 — Wonderful tool for mental health

*2024-10-06, version 3.0*

I love all of the tools and resources available on this app, and I especially love the CBT option that helps you explain a recent situation that triggered you and identify cognitive distortions that you may have applied to it. That has helped me the most to identify my subconscious behaviors when triggered. Excellent app!

### 4/5 — Great but buggy

*2024-09-27, version 3.0*

This app truly is one of the most helpful mental health apps out there. The fact that it’s not just a cbt journal or mood tracker or medication reminder or journal or period tracker or food diary, but all of those things for me, is amazing! The fact that even the free version gives you the functionality and flexibility to do all those things is what makes Moodfit my favorite out of all the competition.

However it is pretty buggy. I have a lot of issues where it freezes or does not refresh to the new day. I notice it tends to happen when I try to log my lunchtime meds at work where I have crappy service. The app freezes and even when I get home with my WiFi and hit the little refresh button in the app, the daily goals home page is not accurate and will not update. I usually have to sign out and sign back in to fix that. So, not the worst but definitely can be annoying. Especially since I have adhd, it’s hard for me to remember to remain consistent with things or I will forget to log things if I don’t log it right away.

I wish there was an option to log things and save them as a draft or something in the app, and then it can upload to the full log once there is a good enough connection.

### 5/5 — hey

*2024-09-14, version 3.0*

love you tame living

### 3/5 — Great Concept but Very Glitchy

*2024-08-04, version 3.0*

As a psychologist, I really love the content on the app as well as all of the tools that are provided. Unfortunately, the app has problems with documenting whether you have met your daily goals. Eventually, the history of your goals appears to be mostly accurate. But, it will say I have met my daily goals when I haven’t, and it will not acknowledge that I have completed my goals when I have. I hope they are able to fix these problems because I like the content. It if the problems are not fixed by the time I will need to renew my subscription, I will not renew.

### 5/5 — Surprised to learn about this app…

*2024-07-25, version 2.39.1*

Downward spiral persists. From the highest point of my adult life to present state. Learning to accept the new trajectory of my life. I know I am not alone.

### 5/5 — Perfecto

*2024-04-07, version 2.38*

I love this app and when I feel frustrated it has a ton of tools to help. I only have one problem. Just because someone isn’t premium I fell like it’s not fair to only be able to do one breathing exercise. So yea. Overall this app is really good and helpful.

-☺️^☺️

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2024-01-23, version 2.37*

Quick and easy. I can create my own goals, track the activities that I want, and see the trending data to gain insights into my mood and any goal. Many activities can be date and time. My favorite by far is the mindfulness tool.

### 5/5 — How to get happy

*2024-01-15, version 2.37*

Very very good project with great potential for success in my lifetime .

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2023-11-04, version 2.36*

This app may not be the slickest one out there, but it’s full of evidence-based mental health tools that I find very helpful. The resources available here are truly empowering. I love that this collection of tools is all in one app. I also appreciate that this app gets a decent review on Mozilla’s Privacy Not Included website. And I love there’s an iPad app that syncs with the iPhone app.

I do have a few wishlist ideas that’d I’d love to see for this app that are more technical in nature, and related to the look and feel. The first I’d like is an adjustable text size or at least matching the system-wide text size I have selected, so I can read the text more easily. An overall design refresh to elevate the look would be a nice touch. Lastly, audio controls on the Lock Screen would be handy.

### 5/5 — Great

*2023-09-21, version 2.36*

I love use this app helps with my mood

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2023-08-07, version 2.35*

It has grounded me so much and so many times
Especially during times when I feel anxious depressed and angry. It has helped me to recenter my emotions and thoughts more times than i can count and I’m really thankful that I found this app and the purchase has been successful and well worth it.

### 3/5 — Great premise, faulty software

*2023-07-11, version 2.35*

I love the intentions and ideas behind this app. But it’s literally the SLOWEST app to respond. I enjoy the mindfulness practices, notifications, and information on this app… But I highly recommend the developers take a deep dive into how apps like Headspace/Calm/Spotify respond and engage.

Also the color schemes, icons, palette… They seem very sterile and don’t scream “mindfulness”.

The look, feel, and user experience of this app needs a ton of work.

I do business consulting in the marketing/sales/communications role. I’d love to see this app succeed, and I’d be more than happy to consult with y’all if you’d like.

Godspeed!

### 5/5 — Amazing Evidence-based Interventions

*2023-06-16, version 2.35*

As a nurse experiencing extreme burnout during the pandemic, I received a gift subscription through the American Nurses Foundation. It’s saved my sanity. It’s the only app I’ve found that uses multiple evidence-based interventions. I started using it & was continually impressed & surprised by it’s features, as is the Licensed Clinical Psychologist I go to for counseling. I love the reminders, I have them set to go off at different times during my workday to remind me to step back & breathe, remember positive affirmations, what makes me happy, etc. I highly recommend it! Thanks for providing it for nurses, it’s made a huge difference through difficult times.

### 4/5 — Great App.

*2023-06-12, version 2.35*

Great app but stuffs up sometimes.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why

*2026-05-29, version 3.5*

You started charging for gratitude!!! Why???? After years of logging this is what you do? How ungrateful you are

### 1/5 — awful

*2024-01-13, version 2.37*

useless

### 1/5 — Slowest app and it never works

*2023-08-03, version 2.35*

It took 15 min alone to sign up for an account because it wouldn’t connect. Then another couple minutes to load the goals page. Then I finally got my goals saved and went to fill in my first mood. It won’t save at all. I can’t pass anything off. The app doesn’t even function.

### 1/5 — Worked Great At First But Then….

*2023-03-16, version 2.31.1*

This was working great for the first 13 days I used it but then it just stopped working with the message connection issue try again. After 2 days of trying and updating the app it still didn’t work. Two weeks of tracking info that I needed to share with doctor just gone. Bummer! I really loved it when it was working.

### 1/5 — Not so great

*2022-11-27, version 2.30*

Not much I like about this app. It doesn’t show the correct history. When I go to read my journals is puts everything in one day which obviously isn’t right. Sometimes it evens puts my entries into the wrong day. I wouldn’t recommend using.

### 1/5 — Don’t Use With an Eating Disorder!!

*2022-06-14, version 2.27*

The nutrition section is not in line with eating disorder research and will likely trigger increased eating disorder thoughts and behaviors!

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2022-05-07, version 2.27*

Was really enjoying this app but the last week it’s been crashing a lot. Not able to retrieve data and not able to save.

### 1/5 — Once again…

*2022-01-03, version 2.25*

The app hasn’t allowed me to enter any data since December 26th. Even that day keeps deleting itself and now from 550+ days it’s now telling me I have zero days of saving moods in a row.

### 1/5 — $$$

*2021-10-13, version 2.24.1*

Just wants more money

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2020-11-08, version 2.19*

App does not work

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great advice and motivational

*2025-12-31, version 3.3*

Since I have been using this app I have found a new way to understand my personal experiences with coworkers and friends. It has been very beneficial for me to look at the bigger picture and realize it isn’t always my fault that someone is having a bad day

### 5/5 — Helpful advice and motivational

*2025-12-28, version 3.3*

Since I have been using this app I have found a new way to understand my personal experiences with coworkers and friends. It has been very beneficial for me to look at the bigger picture and realize it isn’t always my fault that someone is having a bad day

### 5/5 — Life changing for my metal health

*2025-11-29, version 3.3*

Moodfit has become one of the most meaningful parts of my daily routine. It’s helped me stay calm, be more present, and clearly see the patterns behind my moods, something I didn’t notice I needed.

As I logged consistently, I realized how much my emotional state improves after exercise, socializing, or moments of gratitude. Moodfit makes those links incredibly easy to see, and that clarity has been grounding and motivating. Even my not so good days make more sense now, which makes them easier to navigate.

I’ve tried many wellness apps, but this is the first one that actually supports real growth. The journaling prompts, mood insights, and long-term trends have genuinely improved my mental health and self-awareness.

I love it so much I’ve even gifted it to friends, this should not be kept a secret from those we love.

If you’re looking for something that goes beyond tracking and truly helps you understand yourself, Moodfit is perfect.

Highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great mood tracking with mental health tools

*2025-11-25, version 3.3*

I used Moodfit for tracking my mood, habits, and stress. It was quite easy to use it for my needs, and it really helped me observe patterns after some time. All that said, the charts make it easier for me to see how my sleep, activities, and thoughts relate to one another. In class, we discussed evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Moodfit incorporates some elements of CBT, particularly the thought record that teaches the identification and challenging of cognitive distortions maintaining states of depression and anxiety. The breathing and grounding exercises within the app also relate to the process of reducing physiological effects common in anxiety disorders. Obviously It does not replace therapy, but it does apply, in general, some very useful and well-organized psychological techniques.

### 5/5 — Feel Friendly

*2025-08-01, version 3.1.2*

Thank you for sincere support

### 5/5 — Tortilla Time

*2025-05-24, version 3.1.2*

If I have time to dive deeper
I can
Thank you !

### 5/5 — Helpful tracker and reminder

I got access to this app through work and it has been a helpful tracker and reminder system to check in on my mental health and my stress.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-04-03, version 3.1.1*

Great app

### 5/5 — Transformational

*2025-03-20, version 3.1*

I have only been using this app for 3 days and I am already amazed at the changes in my mood and my motivation to complete all my daily mental and physical health goals. I love being able to track everything and analyze the results, the option to add mood and notes to any entry, the CBT tool always being there to help challenge thoughts in realtime. And so much more. I am truly impressed with creators of this app. Invaluable tool for those struggling with mental illness.
