A new card follows your ongoing trace recording on a live mini chart, coloured by speed. Units converter in Knowledge: length, speed, temperature and position formats, plus a Tools filter in search. Also man-overboard button fixes, current particles that drift with the set, and AIS coverage pages in every language. ### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-11 Man overboard: hold the new MOB button on any screen to drop a point with an alarm — pulsing marker, live magnetic bearing, distance and time in water, plus a drift area from wind and current, on the map and in the camera view. Also new: draw, measure and save multi-leg routes; export points, routes and your position as GPX, KML, CSV or GeoJSON; import GPX from other apps; searchable Points and Routes tabs in Waypoints; a distance scale bar on every map. ### 1.2.5 — 2026-07-31 The map now runs much cooler: rendering and networking fetch less and reuse more, so long passages drain less battery. Charts load over a visible base map instead of blank tiles, Conditions no longer shows black squares, and a new button flips Map/Satellite. Bathymetry and Conditions gain opacity sliders. Offline downloads cover the area you're viewing, with per-layer choice and size estimates; deleting an area never breaks an overlapping one. Finland's chart was retired upstream. ### 1.2.2 — 2026-06-30 Downloaded chart marks now open a detail page: name, type, position, mini-map, live bearing/distance and the light. Lights animate their real flash rhythm from the chart data, with a standard light shown when the chart has none. Cardinal marks show their quadrant and topmark. Your waypoints share the page (with Edit), tapping a mark opens a quick info card, and the cockpit course-over-ground card is now a head-up compass. Plus sharper on-device training capture. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-06-23 AR horizon detection: the camera now identifies the real horizon line and snaps nautical marks, waypoints and vessels to it, even while the boat heels. Horizon calibration is now automatic and stays level with the real sea horizon even as the phone tilts, no longer thrown off by hills or coastline behind the water. At night, when there's no horizon to lock onto, a manual nudge keeps your marks, waypoints and vessels aligned. New switches in the AR layers menu: horizon detection on/off and a battery saver that reduces camera processing. Camera now detects vessels in the AR view and matches them to AIS targets; confirmed vessels snap to the boat you see (solid outline), unidentified craft show as neutral markers. AR now identifies blinking lights at night: watches the flash rhythm and matches it against your downloaded charted lights (e.g. Fl(2) R 10s), confirming the mark by name; lights not on your charts show their observed pattern so you can match them yourself. Tap an unidentified vessel marker to label what kind of craft it is. Train the eyes of the fleet: opt in to training-data collection in Settings, and your sightings of boats, buoys and lights help sharpen moodSailor's camera recognition, keeping advanced vision free for every sailor. Captures stay on your phone, sharing is always your choice, and you can wipe them in a single tap.
