I contacted the app customer service and after many emails back and forth they never retrieve my pictures or tell me what happened to them. I am just told since I didn’t purchase the gift cards from Moola there’s nothing they can do and tell me to contact the gift card companies!? Now I’m out $200 worth of gift cards!!!! Thanks for the run around and no answers Moola. NOT PLEASED!!! Don’t trust this app to keep your information or photos. Waste of time. Beware ### 3/5 — Need improvement *2021-01-06, version 2.5.8* I am using dual SIM cards on my iPhone, one of them is not issued by a Canadian carrier. Though I am in Canada with my iPhone's region set to Canada, and using Internet service provided by a Canadian ISP, I can only see "No deals in my region". The only way to make this App work for me is to remove that SIM card not issued in Canada from my iPhone(glad that at least I don't have it as a built-in eSIM...), and reopen the App. Definitely needs improvement for this. ### 1/5 — App is broken *2020-12-22, version 2.5.8* App is broken. Everytime I buy something I get an email saying thanks for your purchase then a minute later another mail saying there is a problem with your order. Saw the promotion in the restaurant, downloaded the app and bought a 150 CAD gift card. It turned that you cannot use it right away as the transaction is still pending. It took 6 six hours for someone to contact you via email to confirm your credit and the transaction. It’s not like they promised that most issues can be fixed in 1 hour. In the end I had to use my credit card again for my meal. It just causes unnecessary anxiety and sweat for that promotion. It was immediately flagged and I got a notice on the app saying to send an email to their support email. I figured - hey it’s my first order they probably just want to make sure I’m not a bot. So I email them with my info such as the order number. I get a response back asking for more info which I give. Then before their stated 72 hours in which they’ll cancel, they cancel my order with no warning. The kicker? The payment is pending on my credit card. ### 1/5 — Unresponsive customer service *2022-05-19, version 2.8.6* I purchased a gift card from moola a while ago but when I login to my account now I can’t find it. I looked for a customer service number and couldn’t find any. Filled out a customer service form 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from them. Since then I’ve saved $183.24 by purchasing my gift cards through the app. The search process and checkout is extremely straightforward. The app is easy to navigate and it’s great to see all my gift cards in the one place. They also allow you to archive used cards and edit the remaining balance so your cards remain current. You’re not going to save a fortune overnight with Moola. Instead, if you use it regularly you will see savings add up overtime. I usually save 1-3% on all gift card purchases, however I see some brands offer up to 6-7%. Sometimes the brand won’t be offering any savings promotion; but I’ll still buy from Moola for the convenience of having all my gift cards in one place. I like to save my initial few percent on Moola, then try to find a coupon/promotion on the store I’m interested in buying from so I can combine my savings! I’ve had three instances where I required customer support since downloading the app. Every time, once I report my concern clearly to customer service, I would get a response back within 1-2 business days. They’ve always been extremely kind and helpful. I don’t usually make reviews. However after my good experience with customer service recently and considering how much I’ve saved over the years, I wanted to leave a comment to say this is a great app! ### 5/5 — Great app great service *2022-10-02, version 2.9.0* My transaction got pending for a few times but representative is able to reach out super fast to solve the issues for me even on a Sunday!
