## What is Moonbridge?

Moonbridge is provided by your therapy practice. It is not a replacement for your clinician and it does not provide therapy.

Between appointments, you can talk with a companion your practice has set up for you. It is AI. It is not a person and not a licensed professional, and it tells you so. Your clinician decides what it supports you with and reviews what you choose to share.

WHAT IT IS
A place to put what comes up at whatever hour it comes up, so that it is not lost by the time you next sit down with your clinician.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not diagnose you. It does not hand you a treatment plan. It does not direct your medication. Anything clinical goes to your clinician, who decides.

WHO CAN SEE WHAT
Your clinician cannot read your conversations with the companion. A separate AI reviews your conversations, including messages you did not save, and prepares observations for the clinicians and supervisors named in your sharing agreement. They are inputs to your clinician's judgment, not a diagnosis, and agreeing to the companion includes this review. Save for session lets you choose exact words, add context, and confirm who receives them; only that confirmed version of those words is shared. If a reply is harmful or confusing, you can send a concern report to your clinician, and you review it before it goes. Only if a conversation suggests someone may be in danger now does your care team see the flagged message and a few around it: your treating, supervising and covering clinicians, and a practice owner who is a clinician. Messages you send directly to your care team are read by them. Practice administrators and front desk see how the practice runs, not your words.

Your journal and private notes are yours alone. No one at your practice and no AI reads them, and nothing in them alerts anyone. You can seal them with a passcode. Sealed, we hold only text that cannot be read without it, and a forgotten passcode cannot be recovered. Unsealed, they are stored by us, and a court could order them produced. Your conversations and files are records your practice holds; marking something private does not create legal privilege. Our operations portal does not show your conversations, journal, private notes or clinical records.

TALKING OUT LOUD
If you dictate, Amazon's speech service turns your voice into text. Dictated words appear in the box you are writing in, and you review the text before you choose to send or keep it. With Talk, what you say goes to the companion when you pause for a moment. If you turn on spoken replies, Amazon's speech service reads the companion's replies aloud, and you can turn them off at any time. Moonbridge does not save your voice or the reply audio.

BEFORE ANYTHING IS SENT
The first time you open the companion, the app shows you the consent to AI-supported care and the privacy policy. They say which AI model is used, who runs it, and what is sent to produce a reply. Nothing is sent until you agree, and you can reread both from Account at any time.

IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS
Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Moonbridge screens your conversations for crisis and points you to 988, and that screening cannot be switched off. Your practice chooses whether a crisis flag alerts your care team right away or waits for their next review. No one watches conversations as they happen, and Moonbridge is not an emergency service.

GETTING IN
Moonbridge is available through participating practices. You need an invitation from yours to sign in. There is no public sign-up.
